Ruiz was a shhit champ,. but he gave a lot of qualified HWs a hard time. His style is boring I think he my least favorite fighter to watch ever but he was hard to beat for a lot of people.

In Roy v. Ruiz, there was a point where Ruiz connected with a right hand i think it was and it felt like i was seeing Ruiz hit Roy in slow motion, cause i could see Roys body shiver from top to bottom, Ruiz of course took a picture and his chance to follow up and ko Roy was gone, Roy keep boxing at a distance with Ruiz.

But that right hand is what killed Roy. I honestly fell that right hand was a punch that Roy never recovered from. And i bet he felt like **** after the fight the next day. I forget what round it was in, but Roy was out of it.

Look at the old magazine. Look at Roys old fights and listen to the commentators espeical the Hbo fights. And there you will get what you are looking for.

Don't cry when someone calls out your favorite fighters lack of facing another top dog.

he landed two right hands in the 1st round, and roy shot right back... the rest of the fight was a shutout

Ruiz may not have been the best HW but he is certainly a good one, he's got a disgraceful style but he's a tricky fight for anyone (apart from Tua) he's beaten (old) Holyfield, Rahman, Golata and McCline so he isn't a terrible fighter.

The win should be respected because Roy was moving up more than 25 lbs (he weighed 193 and Ruiz weighed 223) that's alot of weight to give away.

                    Whose crying?

I'm not just talking about your opinions on Jones, I'm basing my opinion on what I see you post in general.

You are perhaps the worst regular poster on these boards with the exception of the nitwits like Flawless, although you are not too far above his level either.

I think it was the first round, I really don't think it was that punch that ruined Roy beacuse after that he was never hit cleanly. Ruiz just wasn't fast enough, I think it was dropping in weight it wasn't like Roy was carrying fat on him he was pure muscle and losing that to get to 175 made him look fat against Tarver on the night he ruined himself by moving to 175 so quickly he proberbly should have fought at Cruiserweight and taken half a year off to get him body right then fought at 175 again.
