First, I haven't even peeked at boxrec, I'm quite familiar with Dariusz. In fact, I was fortunate enough to watch his two fights with Hall online a couple months after it occured. His bout with Virgil Hill aired on ABC. And I watched his bout with Derrick Harmon days after it occured as well.

Why would I mention "wars?" You think I'm guessing? LOL. Who really has no clue?

I know how good Dariusz was considered - pretty good but not THAT good. His defense was his chin but his strength and stamina - and an EXTREMELY underrated jab - were his strong suits. In terms of footwork, Dariusz made Kelly Pavlik look like Gregory Hines.

It's not a fact that Jones "avoided" him so stop pretending. You act is if Dariusz beat everyone up at LHW or something. The only fighter he fought that wasn't a Jones leftover worth mentioning - and I might miss someone since I'm not using boxrec - is Virgil Hill. He fought Hill first. Other than that...he beat whoever Jones beat and struggled far more doing it every time.

As for Margarito, he had no high money demands or location problems. That's the difference.

I think it was the first round, I really don't think it was that punch that ruined Roy beacuse after that he was never hit cleanly. Ruiz just wasn't fast enough, I think it was dropping in weight it wasn't like Roy was carrying fat on him he was pure muscle and losing that to get to 175 made him look fat against Tarver on the night he ruined himself by moving to 175 so quickly he proberbly should have fought at Cruiserweight and taken half a year off to get him body right then fought at 175 again.

True but going to crusierweight is a risk in itself cause hbo wouldn't allow him to fight an easy target may have wanted him to fight at top dog at crusierweight. One thing that also has to be taken into consideration is Roys steriode use. Wasn't the scandal around that time and Roys name was on the list of roid users.

Roy was scared to face DM, end of story. He said before his fight was signed with Calzaghe that he'd fight him in Europe, Roy grew balls after he got, ktfo, seeing how in his prime he didn't even think about facing DM in Europe.
