My logic is that the champions and more experienced contenders were ahead of a guy that had never had a significant fight in his career. Tell me something - first you said Hopkins was the best middleweight at the time. Now you're saying he was the 3rd best. So why should I even take you seriously anymore?

No. Try reading. You have comprehension issues. By saying that 3 years (actually 2) elapsed between Gonzalez fighting Roy and fight Dariusz only adds to my point

I said Roy was knocked out cold twice in the months following Dariusz's defeat to Gonzalez.

To clarify..........and read carefully.......Im suggesting that both guys were not at the peak of their powers hence we cant use their losses as any sort of indicator as to how a fight would have gone between them
