NEWS FLASH......DE LA HOYA OWNS Ring Magazine.....and for anyone to say that his influence does not have an impact is just crazy. Ring Magazine WAS the "Boxing Bible" according to many. Most recently it has been refererred to as a "Boxing Manuscript"

Has nothing to do with WHY I agree with the article that was written. Mayweather hasn't done enough to crack the top 25 in the columnists eyes. And he hasn't in mine, either. You are wrong if you beleive that Mayweather cleaned out WW. He beat Mitchell and Judah (solid wins, but Mitchell was totally shot). His only good WW win is Baldomir who was the champ. That he gets credit for. His best career win, DLH, is at 154. Hatton was a JW with no buisness at WW.

Hatton had no business at 147...but the guy with most of his career fights at 135 and below is a legitimate WW?

History wont be kind to Mayweather. Years from now when the hype dies down and they forget all about. When the real boxing historians take a cold hard look, he wont even be top 75.

I think comments like this bring mayweather a step closer to coming out of retirement, there is no way he enjoys hearing about it or knowing about it, no matter how large his ego is, he knows we all want more out of him then what was given. While he doesnt owe me, or anyone else a comeback, if he still believes in himself to win, he should come back. Mayweather was just a few fights a way from being close to one of the greatest ever and if he comes back, win or lose, he can get that extra bit of recignition hes starving for in a positive way.

HAHAHA dude can you read? I laid out why I thought Floyd was great, it is a mixture of everything he did over his whole career, not one aspect. Could he have done more sure, but he would be higher then top 30. If what Floyd did was not impressive (career wise) then basically everybody in boxing today is terrible by your standards.

Think whatever way though just understand in my eyes your opinion on boxing is worth less then bat guano, to me anyways.
