No ****, genius? Thanks for "dropping" that knowledge.
Has nothing to do with WHY I agree with the article that was written. Mayweather hasn't done enough to crack the top 25 in the columnists eyes. And he hasn't in mine, either. If he is in YOUR top 25, I'm not mad at you. But don't get butthurt if he isn't in everybodies. You sound like a desperate Mayweather stan when you do that.....

It appears that the Mayweather brethren are up in arms. It was expected. I'm sorry that you guys have been emotionally affected, but this is the general consensus of those who are objective and the reality of the world we live in today. It's not the end of the world. At least he made top 50.

By the way, those who believe that this delcaration is a direct result of De La Hoya's influence, think about it. He was looking for a fight with Mayweather. How much would it help his legacy to direct the magazine he owns to place Mayweather further down on the ATG list? It makes no sense you imbeciles. This isn't Mergers and Acquisitions.

Walkin away in his prime is definitely gonna hurt his historical standing.

Hatton had no business at 147...but the guy with most of his career fights at 135 and below is a legitimate WW?

            Please explain.

History wont be kind to Mayweather. Years from now when the hype dies down and they forget all about. When the real boxing historians take a cold hard look, he wont even be top 75.

I think comments like this bring mayweather a step closer to coming out of retirement, there is no way he enjoys hearing about it or knowing about it, no matter how large his ego is, he knows we all want more out of him then what was given. While he doesnt owe me, or anyone else a comeback, if he still believes in himself to win, he should come back. Mayweather was just a few fights a way from being close to one of the greatest ever and if he comes back, win or lose, he can get that extra bit of recignition hes starving for in a positive way.

Could he have done more sure, but he would be higher then top 30. If what Floyd did was not impressive (career wise) then basically everybody in boxing today is terrible by your standards.

Think whatever way though just understand in my eyes your opinion on boxing is worth less then bat guano, to me anyways.

You laid out that he was a division jumper and not much else.

I just proved there was someone who jumped more divisions and won more titles in those divisions.

                    Based on your logic,

                    DLH>>>>Mayweather.
