You are wrong if you beleive that Mayweather cleaned out WW. He beat Mitchell and Judah (solid wins, but Mitchell was totally shot). His only good WW win is Baldomir who was the champ. That he gets credit for. His best career win, DLH, is at 154. Hatton was a JW with no buisness at WW.Comment

Duran and Leonard beat ATGs who were in/close to their primes.
And Floyd didn't clean out 135 or 140 either, so I'm not sure why you're only talking about his failure to clean out 147.
once again did duran clean out 140 or 147what about leonard did he clean out 154 or even 160
Hopkins cleaned out 160. Calzaghe cleaned out 168. Roy Jones cleaned out 175. Mayweather did not clean out any division as effectively as that before moving up to as new one.Comment

STFU! Oscar has nothing to do with the editor's opinion. The ring team are the most honorable people in boxing.Comment

Did Floyd beat ATG's who were in their prime? No. Did Leonard? Yes. Did Duran? Yes.
You see? I'm guessing that you don't, but nevermind.
I've already tried to explain that, although they didn't clean out every division, did they beat ATGs, so that means they rank higher than if they had not.
Do agree? I mean, you surely accept that a win over a prime, ATG adds to your legacy...right?
Unifying the belts would be a good start, facing the top challenger, something along those lines. Hopkins, Calzaghe and Jones all did those things, but Floyd did not.Comment

NEWS FLASH......DE LA HOYA OWNS Ring Magazine.....and for anyone to say that his influence does not have an impact is just crazy. Ring Magazine WAS the "Boxing Bible" according to many. Most recently it has been refererred to as a "Boxing Manuscript"
