Do you like Huey Lewis and the news? Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercial and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humor. Huey released Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.

Even better is the little dance he does after turning on his stereo system.

Not when you watched the actual fights, also DLH is a poor example because Floyd beat him. At welter sure Oscar fought all kinds of dudes but loses take away from his career, he basically lost all his biggest fights. He beat Tito and Mosley the second time in my eyes, but in the end he did not get credit for it. Also why are we talking about Oscar i rate Oscar pretty highly i just rate Floyd higher based on how all their fights went.

You're missing the point. Your argument is that floyd is great because he's a 5 division champ and beat 3 HOFs but DLH being a 6 division champ and beating more HOFs than floyd is irrelevent because he has losses and has lost to floyd.

Rocky Marciano beat Joe Louis and has no losses. Joe Louis is still top 5 alltime. Marciano is not. same thing here.

Sometimes the site disappoints me. I became a fan of boxing because I fell in love with certain fighters. That helped me truly love the sport and also to attempt to stay objective when it came to my favorites (I didn't always succeed!). But it seems a lot of guys aren't on here to discuss the sport or learn - they just wanna argue how great their hero is and make irrational arguments.

It's disappointing but I am starting to see some real fans come around. Hopefully that continues.

they don't into account the changes that have taken place...
most fighters only fight a couple times a year nowadays.. and negotiations etc have changed the structure of everything...
its unfair to compare him to a fighter from decades ago really!
talent wise he has evrything... and he's shown no real weaknesses
his record is a perfect one

No i am not missing the point, also i do not count HW in P4P all time, HW get their own list which is the most important list of all.

That is not my arguement, is it a part of my arguement yes but it is not everything. I judge by what i see with my own eyes not by what is on some sheet of paper or a web site. Thanks for telling me what i meant with my arguement though read a little closer next time haus.
