Calzaghe: "Kessler is Better Than Pavlik, and I Beat Him"

Joe does'nt have any right to say Pavlik has something to prove. He just beat the undisputed middleweight champ, ko to win the title. And also ko Edison Miranda to be a legit contender. Calzaghe beat Lacy and Kessler. Calzaghe is a goof. The big difference is that Pavlik did'nt wait 40 fights to take a risk. He's knocking people out. And Joe is fighting like an amateur. Enzo is a goof as well.

Erm...Joe IS the undisputed SMW champ, and holds Ring at LHW...Joe has an undefeated pro career of 45 fights....he's been WBO champ of SMW for 10 years....AND....has 21 defences of his title.

I'd say he can say a brand new champ of the weight division below him who has one defence has something to prove if he wants.

Ottke takes a lot of ridicule on NSB. He doesn't deserve it TBH, but he'd deserve a lot still for his appearance and ridiculously boring defensive fighting style.

I've wasted many a saturday watching Ottke fight dull fight after dull fight. I mainly watched it in the vain hope of seeing him on the canvas. Of course that didnt happen.

Had he fought Joe I'd root for Joe any day. I actually became a fan of Joe after seeing him fight on the Tyson-Nielsen undercard.

Beyer is a good boxer. Nothing more. As a champion I'd have to say average at best.

I should add that Ottke's style was based on an extensive east-german AM-background with several titles to go. He turned pro very late but along with Henry Maske made pro-boxing huge in the united Germany. His style didn't seem to change much from AM to pro. But it worked for him.

Kessler is a technically gifted and a well-polished fighter, he's also a monster at 168. Pavlik is similar to Kessler ability wise but is probably more explosive?

A fight between these two is a 50/50 fight IMO. Pavlik wouldn't just walk straight through Kessler, no way, not at 168.

Two wins against Taylor doesn't make you a world beater. I wouldn't say Kessler is a better fighter then Pavlik, but Kessler is a bigger test for Calzaghe at 168 and happy slappy beat him.

Pavlik needs a *******, an AK-47 and hand grenades to beat Calzaghe. Real talk!

The only good names on his resume are Eubank and Hopkins, Hopkins was 43, Eubank was never a great, only good. some say he was past it to.

If he's truly the best, then he needs to fight the best, and Kessler and Lacy were far from the best.

I am not saying Calzaghe sucks, i'm saying that he hasn't done anything to prove he's a great yet. He could be good, as our little bet will settle..or he could be a hype job. All speculation, but he's definently not great with his current resume. All i'm saying
