I cant decide on this fight yet. BUT Malignaggi will OUT BOX Hatton. HATTON cant box. Only reason i'm not picking yet is because I cant figure if Malignaggi can handle Hatton's punch. Malignaggi is all around better than HATTON. But his chin and power are crap. So IMO if Malignaggi stays on the outside and BOXES Hatton, he wins a UD by playing tag like Joe Calzaghe does. If he gets in a BRAWL he will be KO'ed.Comment

I'm not talking about me... I'm talking about the MANY POSTERS you argue with over and over. I'm talking about boxing critics, i'm talking about down the road when his name is mentioned. I'm talking EVERYONE. I could care less. I just get tired of the SAME calzaghe fans begging for everyone to "GIVE" joe something. I will actually be VERY happy when he leaves the sport.Comment

For christs sake, 17 pages.
For the record the definition of elite =
–noun
1. (often used with a plural verb) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.
2. (used with a plural verb) persons of the highest class: Only the elite were there.
3. a group of persons exercising the major share of authority or influence within a larger group: the power elite of a major political party.
Calzaghe is factually #1 in two weight divisons having beaten the #1 or two guys, and is p4p #2 in the world.
You cannot re write the dictionary and retro spectively call someone non elite for them retiring as planned not fighting someone as you wanted.
Grow up. Lots of fights don't come off.Comment

I've seen it, but he was hurt and losing the fight early, and I think that stopped him from fighting the way that he wanted to. He certainly had some good moments though.
The fight shows that he is a lot tougher than he looks, but does not showcase his abilities as well as the N'Dou one IMO.Comment

In my opinion you can only assess someone's prime once it is over. Kessler may yet get better.
Ok, explain why.
You don't think that Mundine and Andrade are good fighters? They aren't great, but they're good at the very least.
Pavlik isn't undisputed. Taylor was undisputed, but got stripped of 1/2 belts. You need 3 of the main 4 to be undisputed.
Well he can't fight at MW, he's too big. Why should he fight at LHW? He obviously wouldn't be at his best if he is blown up, and looking at how Dawson gave up his belt rather than face a European that wasn't well known to Americans, there's a good chance that he wouldn't get a fight with Tarver or Dawson. A Calzaghe rematch is out of the question, I can't see Kessler-Jones happening, so there's not really any point in moving up.Comment

Could'nt agree more
Joe does'nt have any right to say Pavlik has something to prove. He just beat the undisputed middleweight champ, ko to win the title. And also ko Edison Miranda to be a legit contender. Calzaghe beat Lacy and Kessler. Calzaghe is a goof.Comment

Enzo is a goof as well.Comment

Ottke takes a lot of ridicule on NSB. He doesn't deserve it TBH, but he'd deserve a lot still for his appearance and ridiculously boring defensive fighting style.Ottke is kind of like a thorn in the Calzaghe side. I mean, who does he think he is holding onto a SMW belt in the Joe Calzaghe era? Its not the done thing.
Would you root for Ottke? In truth I have never seen him fight and I am a little su****ious of the 'absolute fraud and bum' label that gets attached to him, after all, Calzaghe gets the same thing. Surely he couldn't be that bad could he?
Also how about Beyer? There's another one who gets slated, but how good was he?
I've wasted many a saturday watching Ottke fight dull fight after dull fight. I mainly watched it in the vain hope of seeing him on the canvas. Of course that didnt happen.
Had he fought Joe I'd root for Joe any day. I actually became a fan of Joe after seeing him fight on the Tyson-Nielsen undercard.
Beyer is a good boxer. Nothing more. As a champion I'd have to say average at best.Comment
