Feeling the pressure from the public over not facing WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik, super middleweight champ Joe Calzaghe spoke out and said that he already beat a better fighter than Pavlik last year when he won a unanimous decision over Mikkel Kessler. Joe rode Lacy for years , mentioning him a 1000 times in every interview now he is going to use Kessler to try and cover his ducking of the unworthy Pavlik .

Kessler vs Pavlik in 2009!!!

If thats what JC thinks then Kessler should fight Pavlik early in 2009 with JC to fight the winner for his final match (should he get by RJJ)
Then and only then can he truly shut people up and prove once and for all he is the premier SMW/LHW in the world.
Kess vs Pav would be a war.
Great opportunity for Kessler to get exposure in the US win or lose...as long as he makes a great fight.
