he is the number 1 hater of hopkins though. And he damn sure isn't 43 years old, so my point is there is no way he could possible know what it was like when bhop was growing up.
The guy has spent hundreds of hours talking down on hopkins and tries to discredit each and every accomplishment he ever done. Its borderline obsessive. He acts as if hopkins ****ed his wife or some **** (maybe he did, who knows?).Last edited by ИATAS; 06-24-2008, 04:49 PM.Comment

Yep, that's the thread I was referring to. Pretty convincing thread. I still like Hopkins though. I think the truth is somewhere in between.Comment

I thought it was pretty much proven kayjay was just a hater with the counter thread someone made:
todays statistics:All of Philadelphia was a rough place during the 70's and 80's. That is the time when "white flight" had hit the city the hardest. The economic base pulled out (white business owners ran away and manufacturing started to move overseas) and drugs moved in. i didnt even think about it, but it's kind of funny to try and judge the socioeconomics of a place 30 years ago from todays statistics...

A dozen neighborhoods - Fairhill, Tioga, Mantua, Kingsessing, Hunting Park, East Germantown and parts of North Philadelphia - are besieged by violent crime. Rates of murder, **** and robbery are twice as high as for the city as a whole, and 15 times as high as in the city's safest neighborhoods.Last edited by ИATAS; 06-24-2008, 05:09 PM.Comment

******.
a lot of people make bad decisions when they are kids (like de la hoya ****in 14 year old girls for example), especially if you live in an unpleasant environment. Point is hopkins turned all that around and lived a great life since making those mistakes. That's the point of the thread.Comment
