Anytime Roy Jr. did something he didn't like, he would tell Roy to open his mouth and then he'd spit right inside of Roy's mouth.

I don't think his background had much to do with it because he was winning all of his fights. The problem was he made a lot of enemies in the industry and also because he acted as his own manager and refused for most of his career to have anyone else take any of his money.

Yeah that's incredible. I mean at 43 he made Calzaghe who at the time was 2 or 3 P4P look ****e...And some think even beat him! How do people hate on him so much??

yeah, one of the many reasons I respect him though. I mean how many active fighters actually take the time to fight for boxer's rights? Usually that only happens once they retire, if they do anything at all.
