Mayweather's "Cotto isn't a PPV draw" claims just sounds like stalling/negotiating tactics.

Neither were Baldomir, Judah, Gatti, and Hatton (in the US).

Like Leonard and Dundee delaying the Hearns fight for a few months to let it build, or Holyfield in late 1997 turning down a unification bout with Lewis, wanting more money (he ended up getting $20 million).

When did you hear me say I personally want to wait? You havent, another poster putting words in my mouth, you wont find a fan of either who would rather wait to see it, but they understand from Floyd's point of view why the wait is taking place. Id like to see the fight tomorrow, but Im not calling the shots.

LOL. U really buy that ****? U honestly feel that Floyd is responsible for the 2.4 million ppv buys?

One thing that I know, and I will assert this is AND AS a FACT....

Cotto Fans Have Blatant Double Standards when it comes to Floyd...
and if they are Honest they will tell you that and move on...

And I Dare anybody especially The Cottos on NSB to say they DONT hold Mayweather to a standard that they didn't even hold Sugar Ray L. Too

If they are truthful they will tell you that they Really Hold Mayweather to a DOUBLE STANDARD...

Judah , Gatti and Baldmir were before Floyd became a MEGA star after his fight Oscar.

Now you need to bring in money..and so far the two biggest power payers in the sport are Oscar and Hatton.

My point is that Leonard gets too much criticism for not facing Pryor, thanks to an HBO documentary.

"Calling out" fighters is overrated anyway. Actions speak louder than words. The real action is done at the negotiating table, not in a post-fight interview.

No, silly and neither does he, but if Floyd had not of ran his mouth like he did for everyone to see, the fight wouldnt have done 2.4 million, thats what Im saying and he is saying.

Explain why Oscar made Floyd wait then, why Leonard made Hagler wait, if you can.

It really is what is the challenger willing to give up at the negotiating table to get the champ in the ring. Good post
