When your name is "MONEY" Mayweather..I think thats the exception.

He said that until Cotto becomes his own CEO, he wont fight him. I think its safe to say that this fight isnt coming off.

Ok, say he leaves Arum. Floyd will use his other excuse of how "Cotto isnt a ppv draw"

I'll tell u this much. If Cotto beats Margarito, and Floyd still refuses to face him, his image and legacy will be tarnished.

Bull****! Unless that promoter is demanding options or unreasonable conditions, that is outrageous. You make it sound like Cotto is a starving fighter, when he makes millions everytime he fights. Cotto isn't about to dump the man who made him wealthy. He wants Floyd for the competition and recognition more than the money. Many other fighter have worked with promoters they despised to get big fights made. Mayweather can do the same thing if he wants to be remembered as the best welterweight of this era.

Yeah I can see Cotto leaving Arum and Floyd fighting Sweat Pea or some other past it fighter and then maybe wrestling the Rock before retiring the GOAT. Meanwhile Cotto is stuck with no one and with 3 or 4 peak years to fight left.

Look at who Oscar fought in the meantime. Tito, Bhop, Mosley, Quartey, Vargas. Also, i dont recall people accusing Oscar of ducking Floyd. They were seperated by like 3-4 weight classes.
