This will go straight over the Floyd fans heads. In 2006 Floyd couldn't sell 10,000 tickets fighting in a city he's lived for over a decade. It's not a coincidence he does big numbers with the help of the two biggest draws in the sport and 4 part reality series. Who wouldn't? If Floyd was such a draw, he wouldn't have to worry about his opponents drawing power. Tyson, De La Hoya, Hatton, etc. do/did big numbers fighting cadavers. Can he? No, I seriously doubt it, and I think he does deep down inside too. Which is why he's planning on piggybacking De La Hoya and Hatton, milking as much $ as possible in the process.
If he's a true attraction, that means he can demand the bigger piece of the purse for fights with Cotto and Margarito. Also, if it he truly despises Bob Arum like he claims, what better way to get back at Arum then to ruin one of his cash cows than putting a big fat L on their record?Comment

What i dont understand is, as a boxing fan, why would u WANT to wait to see one of boxing most anticipated fights? How would that benefit you? In all of sports, i prefer to see my favorite teams/players perform as often as possible.Comment

Pryor wasn't even a welterweight anyway.
Legendary Nights blew that **** out of proportion.Comment

Floyd also said he did over 3million ppv buys ALONE last year. If that's the case, why does he need the the fanbase/ppv drawing power of another opponent?Comment

He said that because Oscar did nothing to promote the fight other than show up and tell boring stories, Floyd antagonized and made people want to see the fight.Comment
