I would critise both B-hop and Joe c for not moving up, Staying in one division and defending your titles 20 or 25 times is the easy route to go nowadays because you can pick and choose the easiest opposition and achieve that.

Bhop did that...Joe C also did that especially with a promoter like Warren who was ready and eager to milk him for as long as he could in front of 20,000+ fans in the UK.

Were there really any better fights for Calzaghe at 175 than there were at 168 though? Obvious exception of Roy aside, I'm not sure that the quality of divisions was so different. Certainly not enough to give up a belt to chase.

Joe's resume is impressive, somewhat, lacy was overrated, in any era prime or not he beats bika, Eubank was on his way out the door when calz beat him so it's fitting he got the belt. The hopkins fight was disputed my many, including myself, it dosn't matter now that was awhile ago, Manfredo sucks now, Kessler gave him a good run and could of beat joe, But over all 168 is a weak division, and the Ring belt is a Trinket from a magazine basically, Nowa days anybody can win a belt with all the divisions and such in Boxing. Look at hartley Inbread guy is the " Trailer Park Champion" i know not a reckonized belt at all but still a belt, we all saw the wall mart toy he was sporting after the fight.
