I have admitted liking white fighters when they are good. The problem is there aren't any that fit that bill other than Kelly Pavlik, who I do respect. He's a limited fighter who never quits, but I respect him nonetheless.

You were very upset on the night of Pavlik's win over Taylor.

You bash every single white fighter, DiegoFuego, and I've never seen you give a white boxer the slightest credit for a good win.

How can you "respect" Kelly Pavlik but not Joe Calzaghe? Watch more of his fights!

          *yawn*

          Modern:

Vasily Jirov- All heart. No quit. Tough guy. Been in some wars. never gave up.
Vitali Klit- Great chin. Akward style. Fun to watch.
Wladimir Klit -Best heavyweight offense I've seen in years in terms of how it looks. offensive powerhouse. Bad chin ensures all his fights are edge of your seat type deals. All the technical tools in the world
Kelly Pavlik- Exciting fighter. offensive power house
Gatti- Always gave FOTY type fights win or lose.
Ward- All heart. No quit. Hard not to like the guy.
Litzau Fun to watch, entertainer. Flashy.
I was always oddly amused by Golota. Fascinating guy. Very skilled. Mental peanut but I always found myself watching him at least.

There are some others but there's a few off the top of my head.

Joe Calzaghe career/resume is very respectfull and solid now IMO he is/was undisputed 168/175 lbs champ ,champion for 10 years beat good/solid fighters in Eubank, Reid, Lacy ,kessler etc

we all recognise that Floyd Mayweather is the best fighter in the world today & he has the most talented ,nobody is questioning that but IMO his record has parallels to Calzaghe's cause it is very good /solid but there is not many marque names that actually stand out & make u think wow that is one helluva a resume a bit like Calzaghe's

i know u can only beat what is around at your era but surley that works both ways in regards to Calzaghe resume being criticised im not sticking up for either but come on lets be fair about it

Good post, Terrible. I'm all for moderation. Mayweathers resume is much better than Joe's though, or at least it is in my opinion. He has more marquee names for sure.

Don't bother. Johnny Rebel is a complete idiot.

HE HAS RICKY HATTON ON HIS P4P list at 4.
HE had Joe C. As P4P BEFORE the Hopkins fight.

Hey moron: prove that jones used steroids. Ripped fuel was legel you idiot. Hull England must breed morons.
You're one ignorant ******* as are most Americans that post here. Jones and Toney both FAILED post fight-fight drug tests and as typical Americans they made (surprise) an excuse for having anabolic steroids in their system. Jones had steroids in his system, not ripped fuel ******!

Ring magazine as well as many boxing experts have both Calzaghe and Hatton ranked in the top-ten P4P as they should be.

                    Good post Terrible.

I agree that Mayweather is more skilled than Calzaghe but I actually think if they fought (same size) Calzaghe would win.

Post proof or shut up. Oh wait you don't have any.

What was the test the Jones failed? For what substance. I know. You have no idea. YOu are talking out of your ass. As usual.

Lol. Did you cry when Hatton got KOed? You know nothing about boxing. Nice try though.
