Joe has only beaten 8 legitimate title holders.

interim titlists don't count, or else we would have to count people like Richard Hall and the like in Roy Jones' resume of champs beaten.

P4P Joe punches faster than Mayweather, has a better chin, can adapt better and has a better workrate.

Who was the last good southpaw who fought Floyd? - Zab Judah.

Why did Zab lose? He ran out of steam in the later rounds but he was winning early and beating Mayweather to the punch, lets not forget the knockdown.

I agree, interim titles dont count. especially if its not the same belt as the fighter were discussing...

but 8 title holders is still really good.

not as good as it used to be...with the 4 belts and how much of a joke theyve become and everything...but its still pretty good, especially considering the names that came along with them.

Hopkins (IBF, WBC, WBO, WBA, Ring at 160, and IBO, Ring at 175)
Kessler (WBA and WBC at 168)

          Woodhall (WBC at 168)
          Thornberry (IBO at 168)

Some of the others were strong opponents too:

          Bika (contender champion 2007)
Sheika (was coming off a win over Glen Johnson)

          Some were undefeated:

          Kessler (39-0)
          Lacy (21-0)
          Veit (30-0)
          Hughes (12-0)
          Delaney (21-0)

Calzaghe currently holds the prestigious Ring title in two different weight classes, super middleweight and light heavyweight, at the same time!

It's a very good resume by any standards.
problem is the only guy in your list that didnt just hold a paper title was hopkins whom was undisputed champ, and he was 43 years old. you have done a good job of blowing up and embellishing joes resume, but it is a poor resume by world champ standards

no one in boxing adapts as well as floyd, and that is the precise reason why he is the best fighter of his era

However, I think Calzaghe is way better than he is given credit for, even now. He has all the physical gifts (prime) and also an uncanny ability to work out the way to beat his opponents. Of all the fighters of the 90s - 00s era, he is the one that impresses me most all around, not as strong as others in some areas, but with no real major weaknesses either. I don't expect anyone to agree with me though, as it is pretty extreme!
oh **** me dead youre a ****ing moron, as is tunney, ricky and all the other joe fanboys on here, you know **** all about boxing and youre all just a bunch of biased ********* idiots. same with all the wlad nuthuggers, im just ****in sick of all of you.

                It's a matter of opinion.

The P4P list is a myth, nothing is concrete.

Man you're 14. You really can't talk about other peoples boxing knowledge when most of us have lived twice your life so far.

Calzaghe's resume is better than Hatton's.
