A lot of mma fighters don't have technical striking and know how to hit like boxers or k-1 fighters, which is why they get tired. Like I said, some mma fights have gone on over an hour. So it's like apples and oranges.

As far as owning somebody with the "It's not biased, it's reality" you owned yourself..."Gomi fights like a son of a *****" DAMN...what a piece of journalism that will be unmatched for decades to come

oh yeah, some fights went over an hour in MMA years ago because they grappled and held so damn much without the referee breaking them up just like what happened when Kazushi Sakuraba and Royce Gracie fought in Pride GP 2000. That was soooooo boring to watch, less action, show boating from Saku, and Royce grabbing and clinching like a koala. Nowadays, they follow the 10,5,5 format in Japn which is much better.

In MMA you have half guard position (missionary position), north-south position (69), full guard (reverse cowboy), and many more sex... I mean ground positions you can count.. LOL! Peace MMA fans...

K-1 has some of the most embarrasingly bad striking I've ever seen broadcasted. About on par with MMA.

And little 108lbs Koki Kameda sold out Koraken faster than K-1 ever has. Even people that know nothing about boxing know Daiki and Koki over there. MMA is fading fast in Japan. this is mere fact. In Europe ie Holland and the UK or even France Muay Thai is bigger than MMA and that too is after boxing.

You have to take in the fact that in boxing there are jabs thrown so you don't lose as much stamina and some guys also regularly clinch. I'm not saying MMA fighters have better stamina then boxing because most of them don't but in MMA there are many factors that lose stamina quickly like attemting to take down and also they don't jab much in MMA so their punches usually come from big over hand punches. If the round in MMA were longer then they would obviously train way harder on stamina but you can't compare 36 mintues in a boxing ring with 15 mintues or 25 mintues (for titles on the line) and expect both to train the same
