The fatcs thus stated: you don't know a thing you are talking about and have never seen a second of Muay Thai in your life. Yet you speak like you might have an idea that you do. Trust me you don't.Comment

I think this would be a new record for this site. This much posts and this retart still hasn't spoken anything about the topic and still discredits me when I have atleast backed up my posts with facts..Keep going, you'll get a medal soon sonComment

What's your rush to get back on topic since you derailed it.
The UFC has it's place but it is in zero danger of taking anything over. Is it competitive with boxing? Yes and that's a positive. It forces a better product out of boxing. In fact to paraphrase boxing MMA may be responsible for making more meaningful fights in boxing actually happen. That said the dreck of RJJ versus Calzaghe is enroute for the future.Comment

When did I say there should be more rounds? How much more rounds do you want. Most people don't even like to see it go to the rounds and it doesn't as much anyway. Another thing to keep in mind is there is more contact in UFC so more rounds wouldn't make sense for the fighters. You didn't like the GSP vs Serra but that's MMA. It's not just about striking for some of these guys. That's why there are different techniques. It wasn't as bad in my opinion. The problem for it not being exciting is because it was very lopsided and that is why some don't think it was as exciting and everyone was expecting GSP to strike with Serra. Again you are only pointing out the faults of the UFC and not pointing out the other great fights GSP had and all other fighters. Griffin is one that always comes and puts on a show and there are many others that also do. What excitement do you want then? You can't always expect them to just trade punches and even when they do people critisize it for being to similiar to boxing and don't respect its styles
I know people don't like fights going to the scorecards that's why young people love MMA so much, the new generations wants instant gratification. That is why if a fight goes 1 minute without action the UFC crowd starts to boo, I know what a good mma fight is and Serra vs GSP 2 was not a good fight. I even thought the stoppage was a bit weak, I know all fights aren't always exciting but that goes for Boxing and MMA. You tried to say Boxing hasn't had consistent main events thats why I put that list for you.
The UFC just has better overall control of the shows and puts on better highlight Videos for the fans, you have to admit people have become MMA fans because of the web. Thats where boxing has been lagging but finally HBO has an account on Youtube and it's no surprise the Boxing highlights are the most viewed videos of what they have.Comment
