How many people knew that Hatton had no business fighting at 147 before Mayweather? He was 1-0 up to that point and had won the WBA welterweight title.

Where is Mayweather going above and beyond to give the fans the fights they want? OK, you beat Oscar and Hatton, props. What more do you have to prove by beating them again? I give him props for accomplishing what he's done, but he is wasting the last few years of his career by fighting guys he has nothing to prove against.

About Hatton's one win at welterweight, few people considered that fight a smash hit. Otherwise, he would've stayed there. Him moving back down was a concession that he wasn't a welterweight.

I praised Floyd a lot for beating Oscar at a higher weight and beating a P4P elite in Ricky Hatton, but I cannot see any value to winning a rematch against either for him, other than monetarily.
