ima fan of his ability and what he does in the ring. all i want to see him do is fight and beat the best.

as far as the poeple who dislike him for other reasons, he should conduct himself in a more mature, humble, and respectful manner. thats really the main reason casual fans really dislike mayweather apart from what many deem a boring style. he doesnt have to be angel, but he doesnt have to be a douchebag either. some may try to disect what i say and tell me that if he doesnt act that way, he wont sell tickets and thats fine. that still wont make people fans of him and thats the truth.

i'm a fan of boxing, mayweather may come off as a prick, but i really don't care, i'm sure he's not a bad guy, i would imagine a lot of it is for show.. i simply want the best to fight the best, if u're ranked #1 p4p, then prove it.. but i really don't mind floyd, i'm not a huge fan, but i don't dislike him, i was rooting for him against hatton n de la hoya

nothing.he changed my mind all ready.i used to be a fan.
i don't care what he does with his money, who he hangs out with,
just got a problem with his fan boys who feel the need to defend his delusions of grandeur.you are the best,in order to remain the best you must fight the best.he's been welterweight champ for a year and a half now and hasn't fought the 1 contender in his weight class, hatton is a light welter and oscar is a washed up light middleweight who gave him a fight.i find his self proclamations hilarious though, and maybe floyd mayweather is karmic revenge for all the black fighters that where cheated for decades.

        I've tried to believe that.

No one at all???? You must be kiddin' right.

I used to be a fan as well.

Miguel Cotto is the issue here IMO.

This is bull****. How is he gonna make anymore money then he is now? And if he is actually keeping it safe like most of you think, then he really is making the right choice.....making millions while avoiding the best.

Other then Brits.. vertually no one. Of course you will always have a couple people who are gonna go for him regardless of odds but Mayweather was the heavy favorite.

you are an idiot. imagine if he had the drawing power of a ray leonard or de la hoya.. instead of making what DLH made against Mayorga in the states he would have made a lot more. Same goes for every fight before that..
you just exposed your ******ity.. how can someone possible make more money then what Floyd has made.. Look at DLH and how he made his money.

Though I found it funny that people was like "He has to beat Hatton in a convincing manner without running and then he'll finally get my respect"

And then they still don't. There's no doubt that he has to fight Cotto, but people still **** on his resume and include Hatton didn't mean anything, but said that before.

                      I find it funny.

"Well warp, no one said that"

Wiley Hynea is a perfect example.
