The reason many call this fight the biggest robbery ever is because it was two of the best in boxing p4p fighting each other.
I'm sure there are worse robberies where a fighter wasn't even competitive but still won but they aren't as big as this fight was.
Exactamundo. I mean who gives a **** if Naoufel Ben Rabah was given the **** end of the stick against Juan Urango...? Really...who gives a ****?

Well mostly I was complaining because n00bs say that Whitaker-Chavez and Mayweather-Castillo I are the worst robberies ever, when there are fights like Forrest-Quartey, Casamayor-Santa Cruz, Ottke-Reid (I haven't seen it, but I haven't heard anyone say it wasn't).

I don't know, I wish people would just put things in perspective and not exaggerate so much.

OMG, THAT FIGHT THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 115-113 WAS THE WORST ****ING ROBBERY EVER!!!!!111

Joe Walcott vs Joe Louis 1 was as big as it gets in robberies on a big stage.

Forrest/Quartey was closer than Whitaker/Chavez. True story.

Walcott and Louis talk about their two fights. Louis doesn't admit he lost the first one but it's quite obvious he did.

He walked out of the ring knowing he lost the fight and had to be ushered back in to hear the scores.

Bobby Czyz endorses the first 4 by the way, because he said he had Chavez up one after 7, and Pernell pretty clearly won 3, 5 and 7.
You would not find one if you looked for it in hell. And giving him FIVE rounds like you did already takes the intention of giving as many rounds as possible to Chavez, and a bit more...

Considering Czyz's style don't you expect him to be biased towards the pressure fighter, even if the pressure fighter was not landing anything clean.

                    Didn't see that. At all.

And I'm a big Vernon Forrest fan.

Vernon didn't do anything after about round 2, and then he got the point deduction.

I thought Pernell clearly won 7 rounds.

I also though Jones Jr. clearly won 7 rounds against Tarver in their first fight.

I don't understand what makes this Whitaker victory such a landslide in people's minds. Whitaker really wasn't even beating Chavez up badly in the rounds he won.
