Keep in mind, at the time of this fight Chavez was pretty far past his prime
(84-0 w/ 72 KOS, undefeated 12 + years, 23-24 undefeated title defenses and what 34-35 years old?) while Whitaker was in his full prime.

Had Chavez been in his prime the fight would not have even been close....
Please be real with yourself, I couldnt give a toss about chavez(Great fighter) or Pernell whittker (Another great fighter) but i scored the fight for PW, To say anyone who suggest otherwise is a Hater is like saying YOU are a hater for scoring the fight for Chavez ( which is laughable) when i even think about it.

Am not a fan of either fighter but chavez lost that fight, Even if am a fanboy of Chavez i would be really with myself, I know the crowd who were for chavez were.

Round 3= (Whitkker) PW landing quickfire punches while chavez is coming in, chavez with a wicked bodyshot but whitkker is land a lot even though theyre not powerpunches like chavez seem to be looking for.

Round 4= PW push the referee (Cortez) gets a warning, PW seem to be the agressor now with Chavez taking a back seat, Both land good punches, Pernell is landing a lot of right jab then following it up with the left while chavez just does nothing to counter him, chavez trys to come back but a clear round for Whittker.

Round5 Chavez comes out aggresive and landing good punches to PW's body, This round is difficult to score so far, Cahvez is very aggressive in landing but PW is landing more with his jab and moving out of the way, Very close round..I just have to give it to Chavez because he was effective with his aggression

              Lol, **** that!

I didn't score that fight for Chavez!

I had it 7-5 Whitaker... I was just saying that it is absurd to call this fight the worst robbery ever, because it was ****ing close for a robbery.

I'm just saying that when the phrase "worst robbery ever" is used, it should describe a landslide fight that went against the ridiculously obvious winner.

I also dont think it was the worst robbery ever, But because of the media attention on the fight and the magnitude of the fight (P4P1&2) they make it sound it that.
