Calzaghe is overrated

4 1/2 months after the thread was created, Hopkins all of a sudden became too old to matter.

that post was meant in a different context. I was naming guys just to give an idea of the level of fighters that calzaghe hasn't faced in his career. I didn't factor in his age at the time. its a weak argument for the calz fans so I removed his name. I could place back but all the calz fans are gonna be babies and ignore the truth.

Fact is, at the time, you said yourself that Hopkins is one of the few fighters for him to fight, and you would say Calzaghe has proven himself, but just like most haters, you still refuse to give credit. It's no surprise.

Calzaghe is way overrated. He has yet to beat an elite boxer. How is he rated in the top 2 or 3 p4p? What has he done? I mean if he is so good, why hasn't he fought a great fighter. Kessler is the best he's fought and Kessler is barely an above average boxer. I'm not saying that Calzaghe is bad, but one of the best p4p? I don't think he belongs in the top 10 even. If he gets into the ring with Pavlik, Taylor, or Wright and beats either one of them, than he belongs, otherwise, he is way too overrated.

Hopkins is #3 P4P.

It amazes me how anyone can think Pavlik deserves to share a ring with Calzaghe or would even stand a chance. His face would get turned into a pizza.

I like Pavlik, I can't ever take anything away from him and he's a good kid, but against Calzaghe? For ****'s sake, that would just be Calzaghe-Lacy II.

Nobody in their right mind would put this fight together.

I'm not psychic, and I'm not an investigator. I simply stated what was fact, which is you said Hopkins was one of the few that Calzaghe needed to prove himself with, and after Calzaghe beat him you switched it. There's no reason for you to take it out, other than hate. If you weren't a hater you would simply state that Calzaghe has proven himself, by beating one of the fighters that I mentioned he needed to beat.
