Tell me, who won more rounds against Calzaghe, was it Bika, Salem, or Lacy? But of course, Lacy is suddenly better than he was a few weeks ago...
Is Lacy top 5 at SMW? I don't think so. But that's not the point. The point is that when Calzaghe spent his career consistently beating the best at SMW, it was meaningless to you because you didn't rate the guys in the division. Your basic attitude was: Who cares if they're the best, if the best aren't any good?
Let's see what you thought earlier this year
So, according to your criteria that you have selected, Lacy just isn't that good. I mean, if being the best at SMW doesn't mean anything, then being the 5th best is worth even less, especially when most would say that Lacy is not top 5.
This isn't me saying that Lacy is no good, this is you saying that Lacy is no good.
I get the feeling that because of this, you'll soon be deciding that there is some other way of twisting things so that Lacy looks like a better choice of opposition, so let's cut down your wriggle room a bit more:
Your aim is to make Calzaghe look as bad as possible, and make Taylor look as good as possible. So you spent months talking about how bad Lacy was, and now you have to completely backtrack and come up with this "but he's the 5th best SMW!" crap.
You go on about facts and delusions, but I'm the one using facts, and you're the one taking random guesses about the race and nationality of my favourite fighters.
I've mentioned your nationalist bias and pointed out facts supporting my argument. You've gone a step further, accusing me of national and racial bias, and yet you have no evidence whatsoever.
Now, if I were in your position, I would've tried to find out the facts, rather than just guessing at what I want to be true. I would've looked at:
1)Sig and avatar
2)Groups joined
3)Threads started
So let's do that. Let's look at the facts that were readily available to you.
My sig: Oh look, it's Chris Eubank, that well known white guy.
Look at the groups that I am a member of
Team Cotto (not British or white)
The Cottolition (as above)
Team Haye (not white)
Team Tyson (not British or white)
Tye Fields (not British)
I am a member of the 'British Boxers' group, however if you look (which you can, because it's not set to private) you'll see that there is only one boxer that I've mentioned in there: Kell Brook, who is black.
Ok, 2 down, 3 to go. So far, not so good, but maybe I've been starting a lot of threads about Calzaghe and Hatton or something...
A complete list of fighters that I have started threads on
Calderon
Amir Khan
Freddy Norwood
Sugar Ray Robinson
DLH vs Pac
Hopkins
DLH-Tito
Soto
Khan
Tye Fields
Alex Arthur
Khan-Rees
Chris Samardin
Johnny Nelson-David Haye
So that ruins your theory completely, doesn't it? 1 thread on a white British boxer out of 14.
My 3 favourite British fighters right now are Calzaghe, Khan and Brook. One white guy, one Asian guy, one black guy. If we're talking all time then Hamed and Benn come above anyone else. Take a look here if you don't believe me and you'll see that I also picked Abraham and Vitali ahead any other British fighter, white or otherwise.
Sorry, but a "I know you are but what am I" response doesn't really work in this instance. Time for some new tactics, perhaps?
Well done, I say, WELL DONE. I don't give enough of a **** about busting those people who constantly backtrack over their opinions, but I do so enjoy seeing someone else do it. I say again, well done.
You deserve a splash of emerald, my fine young man
