Calzaghe is way overrated. He has yet to beat an elite boxer. How is he rated in the top 2 or 3 p4p? What has he done? I mean if he is so good, why hasn't he fought a great fighter. Kessler is the best he's fought and Kessler is barely an above average boxer. I'm not saying that Calzaghe is bad, but one of the best p4p? I don't think he belongs in the top 10 even. If he gets into the ring with Pavlik, Taylor, or Wright and beats either one of them, than he belongs, otherwise, he is way too overrated.

Hopkins: Ring light heavy champ and top 5 P4P. I don't give a crap about his age, Hopkins is a freak of nature who demolished America's next great white boxing hope in stunning fashion just months after his loss to Calzaghe. At 42/43, he apparently had the body and fitness of a 28 year old, according to one of the most respected fitness giants in America. Old? Not quite.

Kessler: Blatantly a very accomplished fighter, if you actually take time to watch his fights. You'd have to be blind or completely ****** not to recognize his skills. Double world champ and undefeated 39-0 when he fought Calzaghe. Many thought he would end Calzaghe's unbeaten streak once and for all. Kessler is a beautifully clean boxer. He clinched a mere THREE times in the Calzaghe fight. Hopkins, in contrast, clinched over 150.

Roy Jones: Was the one who called out Calzaghe. Check out his interviews before the fight and check out the Tito fight where he called Joe out. What was Joe supposed to do, turn down a massive payday and not take the fight? No. Then you'd say he was "still ducking Roy", even though he tried to make the fight way back in 2000. Lacy: Don't ever ****ing lie and claim he wasn't the guy to beat before he fought Joe. You can't just revise history after the fact that Joe showed him up for who he really was. America especially was on his nuts. They called him "the next Tyson", and Joe was a big underdog, even in the UK. Then all of a sudden people start ****ting on Jeff, just like they are ****ting on Pavlik now. It's disgraceful how people build up a fighter, put ****loads of pressure on them and then just dump 'em in the trash can once they've been beaten. Would Chad Dawson have gone the same way? Highly likely.

that post was meant in a different context. I was naming guys just to give an idea of the level of fighters that calzaghe hasn't faced in his career. I didn't factor in his age at the time. its a weak argument for the calz fans so I removed his name. I could place back but all the calz fans are gonna be babies and ignore the truth.

The truth is you are obsessed with Joe Calzaghe and you have been proven wrong hundreds of times in a single thread. Removing Hopkins' name from the list shows sickening weakness.
