    I know what does:

    Fighting the very best available.

Fighting more than three kilometers from your house.

Beating the best guys. Or being highly competitive with them.

And I don't mean Jeff Lacy. I mean Jones. Toney. Hopkins. Taylor. Wright. Pavlik. Johnson. Tarver. Call me crazy.

People like to say that Hatton is avoiding fighting at higher weights even though he perhaps could.

Its about best fighting weight. 140 is Hattons best fighting weight.
But thats my point Hatton drys out to 140 his fighting weight is 150 ,,,, same as Floyd who was 148 with ODH ,,,, most true welterweights step in at around 155 to 160 even , in boxing the bigger man when the same weight is taller and has reach , I say Floyd is a little bigger than Hatton .

Formidable and ELITE are two totally different words with two totally different meanings my friend.

Right...lets get this clear. I don't want to defend Calzaghe's resume. I'm not a fan of his.

However...Jones, Toney, and Hopkins don't fight abroad either. If everyone involved is being stubborn there won't be a fight.

I believe Miguel Angel Gonzales was "elite" my friend. Held the WBC LW for years. He was a great Mexican champ. I'm afraid your age is showing.

Ok Gonzales had 10 WBC lightweight title defenses. He hasn't accomplished anything at 140 to be elite or formidable..BUT OK.

                    Now check this out

Arthuro Gatti - 3 IBF lightweight title defenses. 3 WBC jr.welter title defenses. Floyd fought a 2-weight division champion.

Demarcus Corley - 2 WBO 140lb title defenses. Floyd fought a former 140 title holder.

Again two can play that game.

                      I say that....

Hatton has had 40+ fights at 140+
Floyd has had 7 or 8 at 140+

Hatton is typically 154 (lean/ripped) in the ring. and has been close to 160.
Floyd has never been heavier than 148 in the ring.

At 21 years old, Hatton was a jr. welterweight.
At 21 years old, Floyd was a featherweight.

Between fights, Hatton is 170 lbs.
Between fights, Floyd is 150 lbs.

                      Hatton relies on his strength/physicality.
                      Floyd relies on his movement/speed.

Graham and Hatton have said that Floyd has "fine features": small wrists, hands, etc.

Hatton's head appears to be 78.2% bigger than Floyd's.

So, for those reasons, I say that Hatton is the "bigger" man.
