Hatton is a smart fighter. He just uses his knowledge in a different way to aid him in his victories.

he's a lot more clever than what people think BUT he isn't more clever than Floyd and thats a known fact.. I'll elaborate if someone calls me on that but pretty much damn near all of us can agree with that, even the ones who choose Hatton to win.. 100

Hatton better tighten up and get that body in better shape in the upcoming weeks. How does a guy lose his phisque in between fights like that?

This is why he will be gone in the next 2 years from boxing period. Like Vargas he isn't disciplined enough to live the life of an athlete. Yea he will train like an animal during training camp to lose the weight but how long does that work when getting older?

I totally agree. Hatton hasn't looked his best in his American showcases but the guy is a tremendous Boxer capable of fighting effectively under all circumstances.

He's as much of a natural as Floyd is IMO. They just do different things.

The truth is that Hatton with his natural frame should be fighting at middleweight in order to live a healthy life without having to drain himself during every Training Camp. The reality is that he won't because he knows that with his size and his fighting style he would get his ass tore up by a mediocre fighter.

Tyson for example at 5'11 was a very small heavyweight but his natural frame was meant for the heavyweight division. Luckly for him he developed a style and had the power to go along with it to be very effective against much much bigger guys. Hatton at 5'6 is stuck at 140lb. Once he starts having trouble making that weight, playtime is over for the Hitman.

If he was really smart he would be a gym rat to maximize his chances of staying at that weight and becoming a great jr.welterweight the way Calzaghe is a great Super-middleweight of his time BUT not.

HATTON IS NOT AS SMART AS HE PUTS ON TO BE.
