duran, toney, and a few others have had similar problems. Do not underestimate determination where a fighters career is concerned. Many have been undisciplined and still been very succesful!

The difference is those guys are truely great fighers and have gone on to win titles in multiple weight classes.

Duran - lightweight, welterweight, jr.middleweight, middleweight Champion

Toney - Middleweight, supper- middle, cruiserweight Champion

Can you honestly say that a undisciplined Hatton could move up and win title in multiple division like those guys? He barely won the Welterweight title from Collazo. He knows this which is why he went back to 140.

Ray Leonard is a taller, more active, stronger, better chin version of Floyd. And Duran kills him. Kills him.

Read between the lines smart guy. I never said he should be fighting at middleweight. I said that's where he would be fighting if he wasn't draining himself. He walks around at 180lbs sometimes. He would need to lose 20lbs just to get to middleweight but he needs to lose 40lbs to get to jr.welterweight.

Most of his training camp takes weeks just to lose those extra pounds. He wouldn't need to do that if he was SMART enough to stay in decent enough shape without blowing up into a light-heavyweight in between fights.

Tons of pro's do the same thing Hatton does. Not to the extent that hatton does it, but they do it. These guys treat there body like gold. No mcdonalds, no fast food, nothing. That's why when there is time off these guys blow up 20 lbs. And that's probably just from eating normal food and not training.

Maybe cause he started his career at 147 (as opposed to Floyd who started at 130).

Oh and he went toe to toe with Hearns for a few rounds. And he moved up all the way to 175 and won a title.

But I'm just using standard logic. I'm sure DIOS would argue that Floyd's chin is equal....
