You know what Floyd has slowed down with age and weight. Taylor didn't have no better record than Hopkisn and he never faced an elite fighter in his prime and he still beat Bernard. Bernard just wasn;t throwing enought, like 10 pucnhes a round. I picked Taylor by the way to win it. and The first one he did. Now I am not saying that I am picking Ricky to beat Mayweather but if Mayweather decides to throw very few punches like 20, 30 punches a round. It might be a close fight seeing Mayweather losing. Mayweather lately has been having the tendency to throw very few punches in his last 3 fights. Against Zab he barely threw any punches in the first 4 rounds. Against Baldomir I felt like he threw a little more and then against DLH it was just defense and clear shot here and there. Oscar's not a stalker or a swarmer, he';s not good at chasing people and ****ing them to the body on the ropes. Castillo is good at that and so is Hatton.

That is what these idiots fail to realize. We dont know Hatton's potential. We haven't seen how good he can be. Same with Pavlik. Pavlik could turn out to be a destroyer...or a chump. The Taylor fight will make him prove himself. All it takes is one fight.

But dont tell that to Floyd fanboys. The funny thing is they point to all of Mayweather's great wins....but tehy are all at the lower weights. Hatton is a different animal then say Corrales, Chavez, Hernandez, etc.

uh then what was the Hatton vs Kostya fight in 2005? wasn't that the best Hatton we have ever seen? how come Ricky hasn't come close to replicating that effort?

sure Floyd's better victories were at the 130 to 140 range ... But Ricky's only been above 140 for 1 fight, and that was a not so impressive victory.

and objectively if Hatton is a different animal than Corrales, Chavez or Hernandez ... than wouldn't the same be said about Mayweather in comparison to Hatton's opposition? its not like Floyd is a 35 year old Kostya or 32 year old Castillo or Carlos Maussa .. he's better

without adding any flame Mayweather is the best opposition Hatton has faced to date.

sure he hasn't thrown a whole lotta punches lately .. but Hatton is easier to hit than De La Hoya.

          * in response to seeing the best of Hatton.

The Hatton vs Kostya fight in 2005 was the best Hatton we have ever seen.

can Ricky hasn't replicate that effort December 8th vs Mayweather?

Mayweather showed some coolness there, but Corley moreso showed his lack of ability to finish. One of the worst finishers among top ten contenders in recent times if you ask me.

There was talk about Luis Collazo moving up in weight and taking on Wlad. His power was just too much for the welterweight division.

              Collazo is a destroyer.

Surely you're not putting all your eggs in one basket when judging the outcome of Mayweather-Hatton?

Its a given that Hatton looked very poor in that fight...of course Floyd has never had an off day has he?

Please clarify... are you talking about the Collazo fight or the Urango fight?

Floyd has had an off day, against Emmanuel Augustus, and we know how that one turned out.
