That was a flash knockdown on Hatton and Floyd wasn't even knocked down and recovered about 5 seconds later. Whoever made this vid is really pulling teeth to get negative views on these fighters.

        I don't think it's about that..

This video is a tribute to the tenacity of both men.

They will not quit. They will not surrender.

No doubt about it, Hatton was knocked down. And, it was more than just a "flash" knock down. He was put on the seat of his pants.

And, actually, that clip of Mayweather is an example of great defense even after he was hurt.

            Great defense, I concur.

But not the best defense in Boxing - which is the superficial hype.

Is the title of the thread also the title of the video?

It was an official knockdown and it was a flash knockdown because he was back on his feet at the count of two.

How is it not the best defense, if you are fighting a 12 round fight with a guy who wants to rip your head off, and your face looks the same exact way as it did when entered the ring, you have one hell of a defense.

Well, I don't think the hype is about Floyd's defense. That is not "hype." That's for real. The hype is about his offense.
