From mmaweekly.com: "As previously reported by MMAWeekly, each TUF winner's contract bind the fighter exclusively to the UFC for three years, with three fights per year. In the first year, the salary for each fight is $12,000 to fight and an additional $12,000 to win. Fighting income for the year would range from $36,000 to $72,000, depending on wins and losses. In the second year, it's $16,000 and $16,000 per fight, meaning that fighting income for the year would range from $48,000 to $96,000. In the third year, it's $22,000 and $22,000 per fight, meaning that fighting income for the year would range from $66,000 to $122,000. That is actually a six-figure income in one year out of three, or zero years out of three, depending on wins and losses."

"Fighters from TUF who did not win the competition generally get paid no less than $5,000 for each of their UFC fights (with rare exceptions), while the UFC's minimum for fighters who have not been on The Ultimate Fighter is still $2,000. This can be seen as recently as UFC 61 earlier this month."

Your numbers are NOWHERE NEAR the actual salaries.

Also, I'd like your source where Klitschko said he wouldn't step into a kickboxing match with Cro Cop. (I think he'd be smart not to step in with Cro Cop, but I'd like to see where he actually said that.)
Those are disclosed fighter payrolls bro. Dana White said in plenty of interviews that Chuck Liddell made over 10 Million last year and the same for Tito Ortiz. Most of the UFC payouts are bonus money that does not have to be reported to the NSAC.

They give out 60k to each fighter that gets a Sub, KO or fight of the night on each card. They dont put that in the NSAC payroll, PPV bonuses dont get put in the Payroll.

Dave Meltzer who is an MMA journalists has all the inside numbers and the actual payrolls. You have to be subscribed to his newsletter in order to get this information.

He prints the Bonuses and PPV buys.

No, they give out 30k for both the fighters in the "Fight of the Night", 30k to the "KO of the night", and 30k to the "sub of the night." So 4 fighters get 30k extra for the night.

And also, these figures do INCLUDE the fighter bonuses...

          "MMA Weekly
          " ...
The following figures are based on the fighter salary information that the UFC is required by law to submit to the state athletic commissions, including the winners' bonuses. (Chuck Liddell and Quinton Jackson had flat salaries with no win bonuses.)

Although MMA fighters do not have collective bargaining or a union, the fighters' salaries are still public record, just as with every other major sport in the United States. Any undisclosed bonuses that the UFC also pays its fighters, but does not disclose to the athletic commissions (specifically, PPV bonuses for PPV main event fighters), are not included in the figures below. Also not reflected below are the taxes that the fighters have to pay.

Yes, there is still other money that a lot of these guys make with sponsorships and whatnot, but this is what they're getting paid by Dana and company.

money has nothing to do with the sports to me, but look explain this to me. A wrestler out of college can rise to the top of the sport in MMA with training, do you think anyone outside of their teenage years can pick up boxing in todays world and become a champion? That right there should show you boxing is harder than MMA, and with training a great boxer would dominate the sport.

boxing is the most appealing single martial art in the world period
the best parts of MMA are the K.O. that is why Chuck is/was loved same with Cro cop boxing tries to get rid of the hugging non action not embrace it...
I'm suprised Kick boxing isn't that big here, but the USA loves non kick related sports i guess (soccer, kick boxing)
