Kimbo Fight

After a very disappointing night of boxing i was left with no chocie but to order the mega-street fight Ray Mercer V Kimbo Slice.. A fight that from the ring entrance to the stair-down looked like it would be in favor of the more calm and serious looking Mercer rather then the almost intimidated-looking Kimbo! From the time the bell rang to the stop of the fight you knew who the stronger man was and it was apparant however it wasnt the stronger of the two who won!

From the time Mercers back hit the cage while still on his feet til he ended up on his back you could see he was out of his element and unless the fight was more of a slugfest then wrestling match that while he still had a chance it wouldnt be as big of one as he would had liked had they been standing up..... Even with Kimbo on top of him the stronger Mercer easily changed that and took top position for himself, but then the inexperince tapped in and like fire crackers the excitment was over before you could even blink!

The fact is Mercer would have killed Kimbo Boxing Kimbo did what he did in his sport........

that fight proved nothing. the only thing it did prove, was if mercer was 5 or 6 years younger, kimbo would have been starin up at the lights.

The bad part about it is that Kimbo Slice isn't even an MMA fighter and he took Mecer out in like 1 minute. Imagine if he fought a real MMA fighter..

Kimbo is just a street fighter who trained MMA for 3 months with Bas Rutten (MMA Legend) and he was able to walk right thru an olympic level boxer...

Kimbo was a lot stronger than Mercer, and superior in almost every way(And yes, most of it is because of age). Mercer is **** now, i've been telling people for weeks.
What's funny is that Mercer is the one with more mma experience, and Kimbo has only been knuckle boxing street bums before taking this fight. I thought Kimbo would be the one looking like a helpless boxer in there. Mercer needs to quit the mma, he stinks at it. What the **** is he doing in there, he looks lost and embarrassing. He only gave 'boxing only' fans some false hope.

The only boxers that go into MMA are already washed up as boxers so its not a true reflection of how theyd do if they were still at their best.

There is alot of solid boxers in MMA right now but they get tooled rather easily. If Mayweather would have had the guts to step in the cage with Sean Sherk he woulda gotten demolished...
