You can post as many videos as you'd like, it does not mean that I will watch them.

So you are claiming that Marciano could throw punches at James 'til eternity, and he will never land one?

James was slick but come on man...........Rockin'

I dont claim anything; video shows the tech and flaws Rock had were obsolete even compared to the average 70s boxer, so Rock wouldn't land anything fighting that horrible. he would be countered very easily or just walked upon by james and destroyed, You're a lunatic for giving a chance to a novice like a fighter when it's very obvious that watching Rock wouldn't land.

Scared? Of some guy on the internet claiming that James could never even be hit by Marciano?

How much time have you ever spent in a ring boxing?

Tell me one fighter who has ever fought 10 rounds and was never punched in his face in any of those 10 rounds.

Got any videos of that to post up, I would definitely like to see those.

      Pretty Please!!! ...................Rockin'

All based on rock being undefeated/legend status isn't it? Rock himself wouldn't just think he could use those obsolete tech and all those flaws he had,he would see how much more advanced the 90s were and would advance a lot

but this topic doesn't say anything about upgrading,so that updated rock doesn't matter

I understand how slick James was, I threw fists against him when he was a champion. I couldn't hit him with a handful of rocks once he got on his bike doe.

If you are in the sport than you know that anything can happen after that bell rings, anything. Some things are more probable with what unfolds but you can never say never.

Freddie Pendleton KOs Tyrone Trice... that'd never happen, they said.

          Douglas KOs Tyson... never happen.

There are more that could be pulled out, but I do not care to look in to it and list them.

          Play in your videos.

          • I can't see any logical reason to think James Toney stands any kind of chance against an elite Heavyweight.

Anything can happen when a person is using advances of an era as other fighters in said era,not when there is obsolete tech and flaws used that no one even made amateurs use in the 70s and 90s. Like, whats so hard about that that you dont get it? Do you think thats a lie?

i looked no one who fought like they did with all those obsolete flaws and tech they had in rocks era made midcard in 70s-90s i looked hard last year

They don't fight from range much; they leave themselves open a lot.
A lot of times, they will just throw themselves into the body and not protect themselves.

They use mostly counters when up close; the lateral movement is very basic; they don't seem to be able to punch from range while doing it smoothly; they have to stop then punch most of the time; and their feet are mostly tiptoeing.

And a lot of times they wait for the person to hit them, standing right in front of their opponent. They all had these or multiple of these flaws in this era, because it was all they knew it was the style.

Most of what you've just described sounds like James Toney.

Like I say, I see nothing James Toney did in his career to suggest he beats an elite Heavyweight. That would definitely include Rocky Marciano but probably Joe Walcott as well.

You've just shared a video of Toney getting soundly beaten in his prime by an unranked journeyman?

And that is supposed to convince me he can beat an elite Heavyweight?

I looked hard last year to explain that. Not even from the no names did they have all the same obsolete flaws and tech as the Rock era. Explain that for me.
