There is no such thing as race. Now cultural bigotry on the other hand is a survival tool, but use it and that gets you called a racist by the uneducated. It's why we invented the phrase 'playing the race card.' It is throughly overused as an excuse for cultural failure.

Everyone who believes that a 12 year old girl should have her clitoris removed so she won't ever joy sex and cheat on her husbamd, please raise you hand!

No hands up! OK! See we agree. We are all bigots it just depends on whom you dislike.

Now don't BS yourself into thinking you're not a cultural bigot.

P.S. Meant for DeeMoney: The manner in which race is misused today, Mexican is a "race." Go right ahead and be proud of it.

race isn't a thing, but stereotypes are real observable data. and the word bigot is a politically correct term. If you are politically correct today that would make you politically correct in any other era. so i'll meet it half way - for a thinking man it can be in the discussion - for someone who doesn't fit this category it's generally just mindless hate.

My main issue is that you are presuming to know what's in people's minds when they criticise your chosen fighters and, as far as Mayweather goes, reopening a very stale topic in an uninteresting way. I am trying to resist even mentioning Mayweather (and Pacquiao) any more but as for the other two:

Calzaghe - took way too long to step it up and trod water defending the WBO.

Andre Ward - not enough fights and all in the US (beside two in the Caribbean).

Andre ward is a bit of a clown. he talks with all the old fighters like he's one of them with his amateur style. he really isn't a master boxer at all. he fights like an olympic boxer with some pro experience - which is all he really is. His buddy Roy Jones would have cooked him.

My favourite Ward performance was the Kessler beatdown.

See you just assumed. So you are calling me out for presuming but then assumed I support these fighters. I am not a fan of Ward or Calazage but that isnt the point. The point is people going out of their way to bash these three fighters and you know thats a fact. Thats why you are triggered.

Base on Wards current record you dont think its better than most at 168lbs historically?

i don't blame an English fighter dragging his feet to fight on foreign soil. Most Americans wouldnt go to the UK to fight Joe. However i dont blame either side.

Roy in his prime schools Calazage and Ward. However I still got all three of them above Canelo at 168lbs. I got James Toney over Canelo. Maybe Nunn. Maybe.

I enjoyed Wards run through the super six tournament. I would never re watch any of those fights though. I rather watch Carl Froch then Ward. However that doesn't mean I would bash Ward in favor of Froch.

I did However Re-watch that Ward- Kovalev I fight. fight, I had Andre edging it. I mean if they found a way to give Virgil Ortiz that win over Serhii Bohachuk then that fight with Ward doesn't look like a robbery. Now that rematch with Kovalev seemed dirty.

So who is more hated among all time great fighters then these three undefeated fighters ?

There's no reason why Floyd, Calazage or Ward should have so many haters. Especially Floyd and Ward among American media and fans. Go to any boxing channel or website. The topic can be Womens boxing and out of no where Someone has to bring up floyd mayweather for no reason but to throw dirt on his name. I been seeing this for the last 15 years. It makes no sense for a fighter to live rent free in somebody's head like that. Its beyond critics. Its hate.
Sounds like fanboys of these fighters are butthurt for critics picking the resume apart

You want to talk about a fighter who truly got hated on look up Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali was hated among Americans due to his willingness to be outspoken for racial views about injustice and also not supporting the Vietnam War. Hence why white Americans favored Joe Frazier while the black community favored Ali. However at the same time it was wrong for Ali to put down Frazier and call him a uncle t0m. Which is politically incorrect since it was Unlce T0m that helped the ******. He really meant was samb0.

Thats a justified reason why back in those days why a ( white American) would hate Ali. Floyd really never cared to be outspoken about anything that controversial and Ward i believe be talking about God alot. Idk what Calazage does outside the ring nor do I care. I don't care what any boxer does out side of the ring. That's the point of this thread. We are only judging base on their craft. Bringing up Ali has nothing to do with anyone in this topic. Now if you want to say you don't like Floyd because he's not a social rights activist. I guess thats pushing the line because most athletes aren't. Shoot blacks didn't like Joe Brown or OJ in their prime but American society held them in high regard.

Whats your definition of fan boy? because I am not a fan of Calazage or Ward so now I know you cant read. I clearly wrote i just judge people base on their craft and nothing more.

It seems like you are triggered.
