The multiple ringside reports I posted prove that McVey was never competitive against Johnson in any of their three fights.
He was floored multiple times and terribly punished,but you cannot accept that because it gets in the way of your hate Johnson agenda.
Going the distance in a fight does not mean you were competitive McVey was described as not having won a round and his face being in a terrible state whereas Johnson finished unmarked,you have no answer to this,just more venom.

You posted an anonymous AP wire report on the Johnson v Johnson fight,that is NOT a primary source.
I have the round by round summary of the fight taken from several ringside newspapers as the fight happened.That IS a primary source!

You posted nothing on the other two,because they are just your bilious personal opinion.


Anyone with only a cursory knowledge of Johnson knows that he wasn't a ko artist ,and that he seldom tried for the ko, as long as he was winning he was usually content to coast along on half throttle,rarely getting into top gear .
