The one thing that solidified Pacquiao's status as a top 10/5 p4p fighter of ALL time is when he beat a 30yo prime, undefeated (and heavily avoided) KO artist in Keith Thurman despite being 40yo himself. The fact that Pacquiao had the balls to step in the ring with him in the first place (Floyd would NEVER do that) and gave him a good beating in addition to dropping him and taking his '0' and belt was ASTOUNDING!

Thurman hadn't beaten a ranked fighter in 2 years at that point, in his fight prior he barely got past an unranked Joseito Lopez and was rocked and hurt badly.

Also, Keith Thurman was barely even a puncher, let alone a "KO Artist."

Pacquaio was the betting favourite for a reason, despite the age gap.
