  • This is EXACTLY how I predict the fight will go unless Fury manages to stop Usyk (potentially with a body shot). There's just no way Fury can outbox Usyk over 12 rounds and win on points (unless he gets another crooked scorecard like the Ngannou fight)....

  • Lol you completely MISSED the point...firstly, I'm perfectly aware that AJ and Fury have completely DIFFERENT fighting styles. For example, Fury tends to fight long and uses a lot of feints combined with much better head/upper body movement and mixes it up well to both the head and body. However, the...

  • Prime Loma vs. prime Pernell at Lightweight is arguably a 50-50 fight IMO because Lomachenko was also a PHENOMENAL fighter (2 Olympic Golds, 2 World Championship Golds etc). Also, he beat/stopped some TOUGH black fighter's in Russell, Walters & Rigondeaux along the way to becoming a 3 division champion....

  • True but Usyk has shown he's vulnerable to the body in the past so Fury could be the FIRST one to put him down if he connects with a good body shot. No doubt that's one of Fury's strategies which is why I expect Usyk to use his superior footwork and work rate to dance circles round him in the early...

  • I already did...you're just too dumb to understand. Seriously though, if you think that Usyk's 350 fight ELITE amateur pedigree, being an undefeated, undisputed Cruiserweight and unified Heavyweight champion including beating every single Heavyweight he's faced to date in addition to his superior footwork,...

  • I NEVER said they did...I simply pointed out the fact that Usyk has faced the exact same problem before i.e. a natural Heavyweight with a large height and reach advantage and solved it. After all, do you think that Usyk's just going to let Fury keep him on the end of his jab and just lean on him whenever...

  • Lol people were saying the EXACT same things before the Joshua fight..."Joshua is a natural Heavyweight", "Joshua is much taller than him", "Joshua will keep him on the end of his jab" etc. According to Compubox, Usyk landed the exact same number of jabs as Joshua in the...

  • Usyk faced the EXACT same problems with Joshua (twice) who was also much taller and a natural Heavyweight but actually managed to keep HIM at the end of his jab and wobble him a few times. Also, Usyk has the advantage in terms of hand+foot speed so should be able to get out of the way of a lot of Fury's...

  • I'm VERY confident of the complete opposite happening...let's revisit this thread on fight night and see who was right

  • Lol come on man...Tank has been the FIRST guy to stop many current/future world champions e.g. Pedraza, LSC, Barrios, Romero, Hector Garcia & Cyran (who would be champ if he'd made weight).

    Therefore, he's an ELITE talent....

  • Now that Bivol-Beterbiev's been cancelled, this is EASILY the best fight on the card and the truest 50-50 matchup. Although I want Sheeraz to win, I think that Ammo is the slightly better boxer whose chin will hold up better given his thicker neck and wide back. Therefore, I'm picking him to win but...

  • This would be a phenomenal superfight and on par with Fury-Usyk/Bivol-Beterbiev but asking Inoue to jump up 13lbs is a HUGE ask although both guys are strangely exactly the same height…

  • It was a borderline shot - some refs would've called it a low blow whereas others wouldn't. However, Usyk definitely MILKED it but I think he could've easily gotten up had the ref started counting. After all, he was perfectly fine for the rest of the fight and stopped Dubois shortly after.
