I didn’t make this up, even though the book covers the same argument. Quitting indefinitely and 5 minutes are the same exact thing. But I will find the alternative quote from Pacheco that states he was down and out for 5 minutes if it pleases you.

your argument is pointless though. The amount of time that passes doesn’t apply if the fighter quits.

I will dig up the 5 minute quote just to appease you though, when I get home from work.

I don’t believe you are arguing with any type of intent to prove something though, because it doesn’t discredit anything that I am saying. In the book it says Ali refused to continue. He QUIT. And he also got put to a knee.

Look, he didn't quit ,his fellow accomplice in a fake fight began throwing real punches and ,even after being warned and apologising, found himself unable to control himself .Ali sensibly halted the action and said to the man responsible for the affair, **** this get me some cash here now,or words to that effect.

You seem to be operating under the delusion it was a real fight!

What would history say about him If Ali had gone in there with the mindset of Marciano, and started slamming full blooded jabs into Rocky's face ,and carving up his delicate facial tissue?

It would say he took an unforgivable advantage of a 45 years old toupee wearing man.

You being the poster boy for the Rockista Fan Club think what Marciano did was great and that it somehow proves something.
      Its actually pathetic.
Don't bother to look anything up for me I've no interest in your juvenile fan boy posts. I'm pleased to see you haven't yet fallen victim to the ludicrous banning that has been such a regrettable feature here, but that's as far as it goes.

Imagine prime Marciano in with an aging Ali and calling a halt to the action to get paid more money because of how dangerous it was.

          yeah, would never happen

Prime?Ali hadn't been in a ring for 2 years he was more overweight than Marciano.

But of course Ali was known to lack heart wasn't he.

You get more ridiculous with each post.

He was in his prime just not in peak shape. If I recall Ali was around 235 as well.

Marciano was 45, balding and fat. His prime he was 186 lbs, in the computer fight he was 235. How is that ridiculous.

switch it up how does it go down?

Yeah just imagine how rediculous it would be if the Marciano that fought Charles told the Ali that fought shavers to lay off hitting him so hard with 12 oz gloves and he won’t continue unless he get’s paid more. That would never happen lol

Marciano trained for the "fight" Ali did not. If you are that desperate and you obviously are to take anything from the computer fight, there's no more to be said.
