160 was Popkins' best weight, but Toney has no best weight in spite of moving all the way to heavy, something Poppy could never do. Somewhere in the middle of that they could fight save they didn't because Toney was always too heavy.

Where's Boozo when we need him?
      Hahaha, yes, you're right. Thanks.

It’s irrelevant because Toney knocked him out.
No comment... Your just a hater. You never acknowledge points to the contrary.

You really may not know what objective is... And that is a shame. Look it up sometime

                - - In 2003 Popkins was fighting Hakkar at 160 many years away from getting whooped by Taylor and moving to LH

Toney beat Jirov and Field in his best year ever. Poppy never in that mix.

Poor Dan, the haterade just has ruined ya mate. Look up what a fact is when you get around to looking up what objective means.

I have come to appreciate Dan Hammy bringing a little balance to Toney discussions around this dump. Toney was only super impressive at chin. His most outstanding attribute was that he could take the punches of galootweights. Fans were awe struck when they saw this. They still haven't gotten completely over it. It must be reminiscent of the effect Mickey Walker had on fans, when fighting people as relatively large as Max Schmeling, or Duran fighting Barkley on even terms.
