Its not the style of the fight bnut the skill and fundementals of the fighter. Sure he may fight Floyd a different way but he's still going to be flawed and amatureish in alot of things that he does. Thats why he will always blowout a guy like Hatton, Oscar, and Diaz but will always have hell with a guy like JMM
after a roach revise some tactics against pbf I think manny has a great chance to pull the win..
and what makes you so sure that pac will have that "flaws" your talking about when fight night comes. the point is anything will happen and i think pbf has 1 or more flaws that I dont know that will be exploited by manny during their fight. Zahir is a boxer, your way underestimating his abilities. Morales didnt show any sign of decline of skill that night. It wasnt his night and Zahir exploited his weakness. Theres no excuses on that lost, he won over Pac, he should have carried the momentum while fighting Zahir but that wasnt enough. Zahir just outboxed him and has better strategy and execution.
Although the 3rd fight was evident of a decline, but still it was a great win for Pac.

For sure there is no denying that Manny Pacquiao will be watching with keen interest on July 18th, the date Floyd Mayweather Jr. returns and takes on Juan Manuel Marquez. Pacquiao who has had two close fights with Marquez, believes Mayweather Jr. will have what it takes to defeat Marquez.
Recently quoted by Bong M. Reblando for the Manila Times, Pacquiao gave his prediction on who would win the match-up, stating that Mayweather Jr will win because of his speed.
In regards to his prediction, Pacquiao stated to the publication: "Mayweather will win against Juan Manuel Marquez because of his speed."

Hatton's punch resistance was gone before the Mayweather fight, if he ever really had any. Collazo hurt him pretty bad in the 12th. He got hurt by Urango. A shot Castillo didn't touch him, but then Floyd KO'd him. He clearly got buzzed a couple times by a journeyman in Lazcano, and while of course Paulie couldn't hurt him (honestly Paulie couldn't hurt most of us), you saw what Manny did.

I certainly don't think so. You\re speaking as if Hatton lost every round 10-8 and was destroyed in a fashion similar to Gatti, which is not the case. He fought more or less on even terms with Floyd during the first 6 rounds and then started losing the rounds clearly. I mean even the knockout was sudden, whereas against pacquiao it was clear the boy was gonna get stopped.
I agree, Hatton's opponents has different style and has difference in terms of punching power. Pac KO punch was very much like more powerful than pbf.
Was it because of sheer power? was it the style? the plan? the timing? the confidence? the camp? maybe all was perfect for pacquiao.
One thing is for sure.! its not the "punch resistance" its pretty vague.

I don't think Paq is avoiding black opponents, there are NO black opponents around him. Paq WAS avoiding any Mexican and Dominican fighters that might pose a threat to his small frame.
