Floyd is TOO accurate and Cotto has been a EASY target. Give May 8-10 rounds of crisp precision punches with Cotto that WIDE open, then he is getting stopped. is it just me? or do i think a cotto - may would never happen. we know pbf all too well.

Cotto won't get stopped by either. It's a UD all the way. Mayweather hit Marquez at will and he does not have a better chin than Cotto. Pac can't hit Cotto at will like bully Oscar and Hatton was stupid as ****. Cotto had 1 eye VS Clottey. Look how badly so many boxers get when they have a cut. He beat a fighter that is very good. Mosely has more power and the same speed as Pac and May. Infact Judah perhaps has more than them also. Torres hits like a bull. I wouldn't go as far as Malligani though lol.

I agree, Pac and May may not have that one punch KO power at WW against bigger WW's, but they have enough to systematically break Cotto down and stop him. Speed + Decent Power = stoppage. this was the point and intent of the thread 25...and I made this thread back in June and just happened to bump it today, to remind ppl of where I stand concerning the Manny- Cotto fight. You should have heard how the Cotto stans came at me for just posting how I feel about the topic of the thread. I mean, its fine to disagree on here but when guys get personal and do all that name calling instead of discussing the topic at hand, its pointless to even be here, you feel me?

I honestly don't think Cotto has peaked yet or at least isn't pass his prime. Sure he's been in some battle and didn't look as good on his last 2 fights, but i still think he'll bounce back from the same old Cotto. well if there is two things we've learned since then it's that.. 1) Miguel Cotto still appears to have something left in him, though it is unclear, the cut in the Clottey fight unabled us to determine so... but even then 2) Mayweather couldn't even knock out Marquez, a guy who was at super featherweight a year ago, what makes you think he'll be able to knock out Cotto :lol1: 1) I see what you are saying 2) take a ticket, the line starts way in the back.
