Floyd has been in the Welterweight Division for 5 years now and the best he can do is fight Baldomir? Don't believe any sh!t he's going to fight Mosley or any other Welterweights.
It's not even a PPV, probably regular HBO.
Floyd would probably never take a HBO fight unless it's PPV plus has 24/7 with it. That 24/7 with JMM was nasty, Marquez and his Piss drinking. Mosley hasn't done PPV in a while. Someone know how many views he got with Marg on regular HBO?
Floyd is going to fight Matthew Hatton.
It's been a decade since Floyd is ducking all the WW and you still can't see sh!t?
Sounds like a total cherrypick, no major titles, 4 losses, never headlined a PPV, not a big draw. Unless floyd is trying to prove he can do a million by himself?
I haven't heard anything about him taking a Mosley fight now. All that's been said is that if negotiations with Pacquiao fall through, then Mosley will be considered.
But if they do fight (and I assume they will if both guys keep winning), it's because it's one of the biggest fights out there for Mayweather to take.
Even if he's considering it, he never did before on those Brian Kenny interviews.
70-30 is very fair. I really thought it would have been 75-25. Manny is a generous man.
lol! at 70-30 Cotto would have made his biggest sum of money in his career.
Cotton might even think that he can physically overpower pacquiao like Hatton tried to do, he wasnt thinking. Cotto wont forget to move his head though.
Even though im for Pacman, I think Manny will hit his right hook roll under once, Cotto will fight great.
He wont do it in 5/6 maybe 11/12 simply because Pac tends to become a bit stronger after a few rounds and cotto gets worn out. Speed will control the fight.
Perhaps....
Translation: The #1 hated guy in the sport is about to beat all our heros and we cant stand it so we have to make up an excuse as to why he did it.
Again, where were you guys when Floyd was coming into the ring at WW weighing 146 pounds and fighting Oscar at SWW weighing 148 pounds while at the same time Pac was fighting guys at SFW and coming into the ring at 147 pounds. Now you are trying to play Floyd like he's the big monster picking on all the little guys? Thats such a joke. No one in boxing right now has come close to be the smaller man in as many fights as Floyd and in alot of cases he has been the much smaller man. EM is supposed to be a big guy and Pac made him look like a little boy in those fights. Physicaly it was no comparison. Pac was huge in those fights and EM couldnt handle it. Your boy Cotto was coming into the ring at 157 pounds when he was fighting at SLW but that was totally fair, right? Cotto was coming into the ring at 157 at SLW while Floyd was coming into the ring at 146 against Judah at WW. Get your facts straight
ex: JMM is a few weight classes lower than PBF. get your facts straight
Seems many are in denial. Look at all the thread titles......"Cotto team: why change your mind now?" and "Cotto Changes his mind now."
Come on now everyone else... BoxingScene even put that discussion on their main page on the agreement..
That's ludacris if he's been ranked #1, he's only had 1 fight at Welter!
True, there are other fighters that are deserve the #1 spot. But Pac seems to have no one else to fight but Cotto or Mosley
I dont think that is an issue anymore man
I agree its the limit
what is your point?
Is it the catchweight or the fact the belt isnt on the line?
I think Cotto agreed to not put the belt on the line cause if he loses he would still have some leverage to fight someone meaningful after
He is just pointing out that Cotto wants 147 so pac can fight for the belt, but 145 is still a valid weight to fight for Cotto's belt
