hatton was once quoted as saying that "amir khan is a promoters wet dream" so i think he being genuine in saying hed like to promote khan.
khan will beat maidana and if he does then as far as im concerned he will beat devon an timothy.. its the simple fact that khan is bigger, faster, stronger and the better boxer of all of these 140 pounders, the only problem is the question mark on the chin but if the chin holds up against maidana then all these guys are in trouble because give khan a chin and you have the next arrival of the future pound for pound number 1.
since at 140 hes been fully tagged by kotelnik which had no effect on him, he was fully tagged twice by barrera with no effect also. and make what you want of it but malignaggi had juan diaz hurt yet when he tagged khan it had no effect again?
im not for any moment saying any of the above are super punchers but maybe his chin has slightly improved at 140. khan was hurt by limmond at light weight and all the above punch harder then limmond yet khan hasnt hit the deck or been rattled since at 140.

Mayweather isn’t a huge puncher, but I think if he were to connect with Khan’s chin the way that he was blasting away at Shane Mosley Khan would probably be finished in a round or two. I see Pacquiao also stopping Khan in one or two rounds, depending whether he’s going easy on him or not. I like Khan’s ambition and think its great, but I can’t see the public being remotely interested in seeing Khan matched against either Mayweather or Pacquiao now or a year from now. Don't try and categorize people, it's wrong. You have no clue about me, you have no clue about what I know. I remember reading about Hatton in the RING magazine many, many years ago. I thought he was a decent fighter, but that's as far as it goes. I watched him every time I could, not as a big fan, but as a boxing fan who will watch any fight, pretty much.
As for Khan, I have nothing against him. No it's just your opinion that his punch resistance has gone, it's not fact. He was rocked because he got wild and stuck his chin out - but he still won that round on two of the three cards, because he recovered almost immediately - and won at least 10 out of 12 rounds in the opinion of almost everyone. He won't be wild under Floyd Snr. It's not completely impossible that his punch resistance has gone, but the evidence for your opinion on that is extremely weak, IMO.
That's a silly thing to say. The difference between us is that we have different opinions. I never buy any hype, and I go by what I see as well.
He had very poor tactics in the Mayweather and Lazcano fights and then changed trainers, and now has one of the best trainers in the game. He looked a lot better in his next fight and showed more skills than he had for a long time; albeit against a feather fisted puncher, but one who is a highly skilled boxer; and to claim with any certainty that he is shot is ridiculous.

just to point out i never said he was shot.. just that his punch resistance is going and that he not what he used to be. also the ref saved hatton in the lazcano fight by giving hatton a 50 second break to tie his shoe lace just after hatton took a big shot and was out on his feet..he really could of been taken out at that point if the ref didnt save him.

You don't seem to have read the post of mine that you were replying to, which was about lack of head movement, moving in straight lines, and keeping his hands low, not about speed or punch resistance. You haven't responded to even one of the points that I raised in my post.
You're also misrepresenting what I said in the past: everyone is slow in comparison to Pacquiao, with the possible exception of Mayweather; but that's not what you said in the past when I disagreed with you. You said then that Hatton is slow full stop, and he is certainly not that, especially not in terms of foot movement. And the knock down punches that Hatton was hit with last night would have put Morales and Barrera down as well, Hatton's problem was that he left his chin out to dry - just as he did against Lazcano.
But as for why he failed to show any head movement last night, whereas he showed a fair amount of head movement against Malignaggi and Tackie; or why he moved only in straight lines line last night, whereas he showed a lot more angles against Malignaggi and Tackie; and why he kept his hands so much lower than he normally does, you haven't responded to any of those points. If you don't have a thoughtful explanation for those things, why bother replying at all?
