The performance. I think he was extremely lucky that Hopkins was 43 when they had their fight. Mentally and tactically, B-Hop knew what to do- he just didn't have the energy. Hopkins is a LEGEND to do what he did to a guy who was previously whooping young lion world champions' asses. But Calzaghe is the best ever uk fighter and showed great heart to come back in a foreign country and foreign weight division. Pavlik or jones or B-hop again??

I enjoyed this fight quite a bit, the flash knockdown had me at the edge of my seat and nervous as hell, and then there were definantly those rounds that you never know what the judges could be thinkin. I think they both fought well but calzaghe was just too busy for bernard, he pressed that fight through every second of every round and was much more willing to get in there and exchange punches even after being knocked down. Way to go joe!

Hopkins lost a close a fight to another brilliant fighter, and that certainly cant be called an execution. I have actually become a fan of Hopkins after the fight. B-Hopkins has balls bigger than Manhattan. :)

SPLIT DECISION CLOSE FIGHT. There's nothing really to rub into Hopkins' face. I was just amazed by this guy doing his thing at this age. I give credit to BOTH guys best reply I have heard all night.
