Kelly Pavlik next defense of the WBC/WBO middleweight titles has been confirmed for June 27 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Pavlik will defend his titles against Sergio Mora, winner of the first season of The Contender boxing reality show. Harrah's Entertainment consultant Ken Condon confirmed to the Press of Atlantic City that an agreement was reached with Top Rank to stage the fight in the venue. Two other dates, July 18 and 25 were in play but a scheduling conflict forced the fight to switch over to the date of June 27.

When reached for comment, Top Rank's Bob Arum would tell BoxingScene.com that he plans to stage the entire Pavlik-Mora [Top Rank pay-per-view] card in Atlantic City - which rules out a split-feed show with Mexico where he considered putting on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and the banned Antonio Margarito.
