Drake sides with Mcgregor, must be a racist! lol
In the video at 4:30. Drake scared to mention it in front of cameras, he knows how many blacks that are racist and will turn against him if he's cheering for a white boy.
Well he's mixed and even if he wasn't, he should be able to side with whoever he wants regardless of race. I think he likes both tbh.
Why is Khan dictating Brook's career? He 1st wanted him to win a title and he did. Then he wanted it to build, well it has, now he wants him to fight Spence. If Brook fights Spence and win, Khan will fight someone else. At this point, I don't care about the fight anymore. Now I hope Khan gets knocked out in his next fight, Brook moves up to 154 and Spence clear the division.
I say Broner can get 10mil max. He will bring the entertainment and the people hoping for him to get his butt whooped again. AB will definitely sell the fight. But if he gets 10mil, Pac gots to be getting around 20 - 25mil. I wonder why Khan is not being considered?
Great!! Just what I needed to hear before I decided to put money on Brook. I was going to bet on Brook because of the odds, but just reading what Macklin went through mentally and physically in the ring, it made me feel as if I was in the ring with GGG. Therefore, I'm going to keep my money and if Brook pulls it off, it was money that I didn't have in the first place.
Damn!! I must of been under a rock. When was the 2nd fight? Was it better than the 1st? If Pac won the 2nd fight, they might as well take the Cinco De Mayo date back from Canelo and break the tie.
He will be at least top 3. I think there's a couple fights out there that's coming up and they want to see what they do. Ward or Kov may get it if they dominate one another. Chocalito may get it if he dominates his fight.
I think he will lose, but if he does decent, he should go to 154. There are some good fights there. Spence will follow him to 154 in about 3 years.
This fight is going too many rounds. Berto should over ended this fight no later than the 5th round. Upsher is not even fighting back and is still only a few punches away from making a round go either way. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong but I thought this might be a tuneup fight.
Broner can win this fight if he starts out fast, bully Pac and not do the shoulder roll. He starts out way too slow. I'm mean like he can go 8 rounds before he will pick up the pace. By that time, he needs a knockout. He's stronger and bigger than Pac, so he needs to rough him up and get him against the ropes. I think Broner would be better off up close and not allowing for Pac to bounce around and attack with his flurries. And although he uses the shoulder roll in every fight, he has not perfected it. He's way too flat footed to use it effectively. And the shoulder roll keeps fighters like, James Toney and Floyd Mayweather from throwing a lot of punches, therefore they are more of counter punchers. Broner should not be a counter puncher. Especially in the smaller weight classes where he should be able o out-muscle his opponents. I'm surprise Broner is quiet about this. I hope he gets the fight. I love seeing him talk crap before the fight and his reaction after the fight, win or lose. The winner could possibly fight Mayweather, which would be cool as a final fight.
What's crazy is that he was fighting back and he got wobbled in the 11th. He wanted to continue, but McGirt stopped. At that time the stoppage didn't appear to be too late or too early. We've seen fighters take what appeared to be much more damage and the fight continued. And if you saw the fight, if you ask yourself how did he lose, you would say he took a lot of body shots. You could see the redness on the side of his body as evidence that he was taken a lot of hits to the body, but he may of been either taken too many to the head that last round or he had a few hits to the head that were in the right spot to cause serious damage. I want to rewatch the fight to see if I still have the same analysis about the fight, but I don't want to because I know what happened afterwards.
Broner is the king of cherry pickers. Allakhverdiev , Theophane, Granados? I mean, who gives this guy ideas?
Don't see how it's a cherrypick. Its obvious to me after that fight that Broner and Granados are evenly matched.
Arum is a damn lie, that sounds like something he is making up for attention! "Years ago I told people that weigh ins could be streamed live across the world and they laughed at me!" As if you thought of live stream in a time when no one else fathomed it! Bob Arum's old ass knows nothing about technology! What happened is, Floyd made fun of Pac, on live stream, then Arum asked someone what live stream was, then Todd told him, and then they started using live stream! and if they started using it, before that incident, then there was probably another incident, where someone brought up live stream, and Todd(because he's younger, and hip on latest technology) thought it would be cool to use it to show promotional events!
I think you missed a key word "IF". He didn't say he told people that weigh ins could be streamed live across the world and they laughed at me!" He said, if I told people..... Please reread the quote.
Pac was a money making superstar in his own right. GGG is not.
I agree with that, but with the right opponent he will be bring plenty of money to the table also. Again, look at May and Pac and how many PPV was bought. On their on against weak opponents, not even a third of the PPV's bought. If GGG has a PPV coming up, I mostlikely wouldn't buy. If Canelo had one coming up, again I probably wouldn't buy. But if they fight each other, I'm buying. Think of how many people that are thinking that way. The recent PPV numbers by both fighters does not mean that GGG is going to just bring 97k and Canelo is just going to bring 250k. I'm sure we are looking at close to or maybe even more than 1 million PPV buys, so the main player has a very good co-star or strong supporting cast.
Can't Stevenson still fight him on HBO regardless of the contract situation? Kov was planning to fight in a few weeks in Russia and it wasn't going to be televised by HBO. Or let both networks pick it up. Fights shouldn't go unmade because of different networks.
I hate this stupid back and forth ducking talk. It feels forced and it's for a fight nobody asked for. It's if they think people will be upset if the fight doesn't happen.
I actually called for this fight about two years ago. I would be upset now that it is so close to happening. It's not one of the top fights but it is a very competitive fight that can lead to bigger fights at 140 or 147.
Well, there's no way to avoid this match. Broner will have to face him at some point when Garcia moves up if he ever wants a legit title at 140. Credit to Broner for wanting to rematch Maidana, so I doubt he would run away from a fight with Matthysse. Would actually like to see Broner vs Bradley once Oscar is able to end the Cold War.
No child should be getting an adult sentence. He should be tried, but not as an adult. US is the only country in the world that did not ratify to UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. This is not just embarrassing, its medieval..
He's not being tried as an adult. If he was 14 or older, he could get sentenced to death because Texas is a Death Penalty State.
Mayweather and PacMan name should not be mentioned with this tournament. This would of been a great idea 3 or 4 years ago. But this is a good way to have just one champ. The only thing I don't like about the tournaments is that it takes too long. If you go into the tournament near the end of your prime, surely you'll be passed your prime by the time the tournament is over.
Neither one looks scared to me. Even on the 2nd pick on the other thread, it just look like they took a picture during a break or something. He obviously doesn't look as interested as he did with the Ghost, but I think for one, they don't speak the same language and 2, the Ghost challenged Floyd as if he was just an average fighter with disrespect. I don't think that Canelo has popped off at the mouth. I think he truly believes that he will win big for his country and he has stated this, but at no time has he insulted Floyd and called him names. It's going to be hard to promote this fight anymore than it already is because of the language and the respect. Plus Floyd doesn't feel as if he has to build the fight up by being disrespectful because of Canelo's huge fanbase. I hope it doesn't happen, but if Floyd's last fight was $70, than they should go up $10 more dollars for this fight.
thats why the business is failing.... Got a drunk crack head cross dresser as the face of company... What a sad joke....
Yeah, smdh. They need to just go ahead and do a merger with another company.
