I'm glad there's no father and son team dynamic here where the father is taking more center stage than the son resulting in not seeing the two fighters' animosity with each other develop naturally. This is how fights are supposed to be promoted in a natural way, not recruit some clown father as if he's the one fighting. Can't wait to see more of the back and forth trash talk.

Both of these guys are listed as being 5'9. Spence is noticeably taller than Brook though. So is Brook 5'8, or is Spence 5'10?

He's also living off of a win over Porter while Spence has yet to face anyone close to porter's level. Porter's level stop it,porter is c+at best all he does is crowd his punches, and hugs and mugs, run into you and makes it an ugly fight for his opponents that makes it a hard fight to judge which makes his fights seems close that's Porter's strategy basically

Brook is not the most talented welter in this era. He is a decent fighter but he hasn't shown that his skills are superior to any other top welter and that includes Spence. IMO (based off the eye-test), in this post May-Pac era Brook has the most well-rounded skill set.

Brook says he's the southpaw slayer! Did he fight Judah, Guererro, Ortiz, or Pacquiao? Who were these southpaws that he was "slaying?" It was Jo Jo Dan I think. He's a southpaw, lol.

Lol. i love spence but he was a bit disrespectful. You gotta sell fights and get in the other guys head but Kells one of the few who appear willing to make a fight with anyone. I thought Spence's comments about the Brook fudge brownie comment were hilarious.

I like both of these dudes, and hopefully a good scrap will ensue, although coming down in weight has never worked well. Add Chris Byrd dropping down to the already mentioned guys. But the jokes about Brook being a fruitcake are funny - it may be true, but one look at Spence's face and I i know immediately that he's as gay as the day is long. Complete and total gay face. Spence has a kid or two though. Brook was probably disappointed when he found out.

I'm the only one that sees this as a 50/50 fight? Brook has good movement and he can crack. Spence has good fundamentals and he can crack. The only thing I worry about is if Brook will hug Spence every time he's in trouble. Bette yet, if Spence will know how to counter it if he does. Porter never figured it out.
