Great!! Just what I needed to hear before I decided to put money on Brook. I was going to bet on Brook because of the odds, but just reading what Macklin went through mentally and physically in the ring, it made me feel as if I was in the ring with GGG. Therefore, I'm going to keep my money and if Brook pulls it off, it was money that I didn't have in the first place.

The Macklin interview was very telling. It's worth a watch. Honest opinion from someone who actually fought GGG and is personal friends with Kell Brook.

Macklin was never elite but he was 'up there' for a while - solid contender. Brook has more than Macklin ever had but on the other hand Macklin is just talking about how much it hurts to be tagged by Golovkin and also Golovkin's ability to cut the ring and maintain distance. We will see.
