do you think that Anderson Silva could beat the best kickboxers in the world?
Top level kickboxers that tried boxing:
Ray Sefo
Mighty Mo (got his jaw broken)
Mark Hunt(won the Grand Prix in K-1 in 2001, which is basically the kickbxoing world championship)

you forgot..... Vitali Klychko!!!!!!!!
Well jeez, we get the point already. You obviously like the Klitschkos. That doesn't mean everyone in the UK does. Nor does everyone in the UK like Haye, either. No need to keep banging on about it.
agreed.. btw I also like them ;)
The last time British boxing was huge was because of Hatton, Lennox, Benn, Eubank and Calzaghe. I don't think Haye will ever reach the popularity of those 4, what with his silly antics over the past year and tendency to pull out of fights.
He's not a very endearing character, either. Granted, he does the mouthy Londoner thing, but I don't see it washing with everyone these days. Didn't they have to give away free tickets for the Barrett fight?
Even with the best promotional hype, there's no way he'd sell enough to make a Wembley date during these bad times... unless the tickets were very reasonably priced.
don't forget Prince Naseem.. that guy was funny, i still hate him, but he was awesome to watch
Europe is very different from the US. You guys have soccer above anything else and then maybe boxing. We here have too many varieties. We have pro football, baseball, basketball and a grip of other sports. The US life is fast paced, Europeans don't live as fast paced as us. You guys have less to do.
please tell me you're joking... Boxing second biggest sport in Europe? first of all, soccer alone takes more boxing prospects away than most AMerican Sports together.... and you act as if there are not other huge and i mean popular sports in Europe... are you forgeting Rugby, Hockey, Basketball? pretty much the same as in AMerica so that point is bold....and if you take into account soccer, i'd say more athletes choose not to take boxing as a career in Europe than in America (compared in a % Basis)
not all Klitschko fans are nuthuggers.. i'm a fan myself, and i feel they don't get the respect they deserve.. but i'm not going to go there and call names at everybody and say the Klitschkos are the best ever, tho i consider them in the top 10 and could be better at the end if they continue to dominate for the next 2-4 years (at least Wladimir)... peace..
My apologies! I just thought it was a name update!

No probs. We all have fighters we support, but stick around long enough and you will realise why, because of the tunneytards/red sonja's, the K bros dont get the props they may deserve.
yes you're rigth, but it takes two to tango... however, there are such a lot of threads one way or the other that it's really impossible to tell who started all of this, at least to me...
Povetkin has not been busy. He's fought twice in the last 18 months and one fight was against a complete bum. Wlad is going to kick his ass and most of the people here will say Povetkin is a bum who wouldn't be in the top ten of any other boxing era. Same with Chambers.
people will say that about every single fighter ... no matter what
